Holiday Inn Express & Suites Astoria, an IHG Hotel

Positive: We LOVED the views from our room! When we stay at this hotel again, we want the same room. It was perfect! The beds were comfortable. The stairs were conveniently located to our room. The pool was good. The breakfast options were vast.Quiet hotel at night Negative: I would have liked having more towels in the room. Our family of 5 was sharing the same three bath towels for thr first day until the maid came by.

We had a corner room suite. It was very comfortable, clean and roomy. The view was wonderful and we all loved watching the big ships come through. It was wonderful to have our own room with the king bed. It gave my husband and i some much needed quite time away from the kids. We all liked the pool and the room. The breakfast was really good too! The ladies at the front desk were very kind and friendly.

Great place. Not one big reason, just lots of little ones. Shower head was not half plugged, room was CLEAN. Hotel staff was extremely courteous and nice. Continental breakfast was great, and especial clean. The gentleman attending to it was right there checking things, wiping things down and cleaning. As far as the food, it was good. Not great but hey, its free and better than most. We will be back.

Nice place but walls paper thin. The folk(s) next door fell asleep with the tv on all night in to the morning. I dont beleve it was at a loud vol.. but it came thru the wall like it was in my room. I am a lite sleeper.. so i had issues. I will not be back. Oh the breakfast buff was the bomb. Please note.. just not compatable to my sleeping issue as a light sleeper i need dark and quiet. Got dark.. but no quiet.

The location is the best (compared to Best Western or Hampton). It is right in the middle of the city with different restaurants and pubs nearby. The hotel was very clean and the view of the bridge from your room was spectacular 💫. We also had a fire place which made the ambience extra serene. Breakfast was good with a variety to choose from. The only downside I would say is the bathroom. We booked a suite and the bathroom was underwhelming. The tub and shower curtain felt like I was at home rather than on vacation lol. Also, the TV was not smart so we couldn’t enjoy Netflix or YouTube. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Astoria ⚓️

Very nice and clean, friendly staff. Rooms are modern and well furnished. The location is what sets this one aside. It is right under the bridge from washingtion into Astoria. Amazing view of the Columbia River and the bridge. Great sunset also. Prices are good and reservations are a must. Has been booked out before.

Been there twice, loved the location and the view is beautiful. The rooms we have were nice and big. The gentleman that works at the breakfast station is really nice very helpful , the front desk was ok but the cleaning crew needs to step it up. When we arrive we have to clean the toilet because the seat had poop in it. The next morning my toddler had a blow up diaper that stained the carpet, we clean it up a little but asked them to clean area when we were leaving at 10 am they say yes but we arrived at night to a dirty room. That was really disappointing. Also there was no pancake/waffle machine.
