Inman Park Bed & Breakfast

I agree with some of the positive reviewers regarding the hospitality and the interesting surroundings. My own cat was greeted enthusiastically by Eleanor, and we loved the house and neighborhood. My son went to school in Atlanta and lived a short walk from this neighborhood, and it was fun to rediscover it and see that most of the charm was still there. If I need luxury and perfection, I would never stay at a Bed and Breakfast - but the welcome and the hospitality and the old house was just what I needed. Eleanor was also very flexible as far as times, which I appreciated. We came late at night and left before lunch, and I would be happy to return.

I had to write when I read the negative review from six years ago - really? My husband and I stayed with Eleanor at the Inman Park B&B a few months ago and loved it. The location is fantastic, Eleanor is an amazing woman and the house is full of history and charm. I'm about to book a room there again and will continue to do so everytime I come to Atlanta. Couldn't ask for better!

We stayed 3 nights at Inman Park B&B in the only ground floor room. This area of Atlanta is beautiful & the B&B is located close to Inman Park. Eleanor, the owner, greeted us at the door and immediately offered us tea -- quite nice. She has 5 cats and a duck, so we became intimately acquainted with her menagerie (only one cat is an indoor cat; another is indoor/outdoor; the other three & the duck live outside). The inn is beautifully decorated with lots of Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Mission, and Arts & Crafts style details as well as eclectic touches from other eras. The breakfasts were buffet style and included cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. One morning, we had hot cinnamon rolls. It is a quirky place but we had a good time.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Inman Park B & B. The Innkeeper, Eleanor, is a lovely lady and accommodating. Our room upstairs(we actually had the entire upstairs to ourselves) was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a disappointment and the downstairs needs renovation. As stated on the website if you're allergic or just don't like cats; don't stay here. Eleanor also has a pet duck in the backyard who she was anxious for us to meet! The Inn is in a great location(we were visiting our daughter in Decatur) but the driveway into the parking in the backyard is narrow and tricky. We would stay here again knowing full well what to expect.

Yes, time has taken the shine of a new house from this Inn, but left a beautiful "patina" that only overgrown and blooming hydrangeas laced by ivy can give. The house was spotless and the warmth of Eleanor, the owner, made us feel at home. She invited us to meet Bob, her friendly white duck - we even handed him tomato pieces as snacks!||The breakfast was delightful and delicious - I lingered after the breakfast to chat with Eleanor and left feeling I found a friend...

We loved our stay at Inman Park Bed and Breakfast! The house is lovely, the location is ideal and Eleanor, the owner, is very interesting and hospitable. We especially enjoyed Bob, the resident duck who entertained us with his antics. We definitely recommend it and will be staying again.

We were there for 3 nights for the Memorial Day (2016) weekend. Our host was charming. The breakfasts were plentiful and served at very convenient times. We were the only guests on the property and felt really at home. ||It's a funky quaint place- sorta like visiting your mother's or grandmother's house. So if you are expecting the Ritz, you will be disappointed. However, if you are more into laid back, friendly accommodations, this is the place for you.||Cats are around, so if you are allergic, this isn't the place for you.||I'd come back there next time I am in ATL.||Also ask about the history of the property, so interesting to know that we stayed in the same house as some famous characters!
