Terrible experience as it was my first time. For starts $468 to have no hot water or heat and to be told it would take up to 1-2 hours to be moved at 9pm. I checked in at 8 pm., It was cold in the room I turned on the heat which was a bit out dated like 1980-90 out dated, then ran to grab food. When we got back around 9 the room was still not heated. I then called front desk to be told it would take 1-2 hours to get another room. 10 pm rolled around and I got the same response and was told that they would give us extra blankets but that would take up to 2 hours. No one showed up with blankets. By this time it was midnight & with an 85 year old in company there was a lot to be done to go back to the front desk. I paid $30 for parking ok discount is a discount but when we left out we was supposed to receive a $5 discount in which front desk did not even ask if we had a car during check in. No I would not stay again at that price because regardless there are smaller hotels just 10-15 minutes off the boardwalk cheaper, better hospitality & complimentary breakfast. I don't gamble so if it was not for the family gathering yes, no I won't make it a stay. For me I am really that person itt only takes once for me. Signed Horrible Stay!

Great hotel and casino located at the south end of AC. Found the room to be comfortable and clean. The hotel and casino staff are friendly and helpful.|We took advantage of a great week day room rate. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the Havana Tower. Plenty of restaurants and bars for all types throughout the huge complex. "Happy Hour' is featured by a "bar crawl,"" of almost all the restaurants, with discounted drinks and food.|Great for a quick getaway!|And of course the casino!

This is directed to the person who registered us in the Diamond line. She spoke as if she were giving us something special but what we got was horrible. We are both in our late 70s and have problems walking. She gave us a room in the North Tower that was the last room down a very long hallway. The safe didn't work and we had to call the Locksmith. It took approximately 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower. We only had 1 towel each and the view was horrible. As a Diamond Tier Member, I expected an ocean view. Our view was the side of the entrance and the street! We were treated better at Harrah's when I was Platinum Tier! I am very disappointed .

It may not be the most modern resort in AC, but I've had a lot of great times here. I'd say it's the best overall resort in AC. The property is enormous; it's almost like a Vegas style resort. The hotel's a good value despite the resort fee. North and south towers have modern rooms and are centrally located. There are often odd smells in the hallways for some reason. They have lots of fun clubs and restaurants and entertainment. There's karaoke! The dining highlights for me are Chickie + Petes and Carmine's. The Showroom was a good place to see a comedian but the seats were tiny and it got really hot in there. Both of the clubs are pretty fun. There are many elevators and escalators (perhaps too many) and a lot of them could use some modernizing. The casino is always beautifully decorated for holidays. They even have an arcade with pinball. overall the Trop is a must visit resort in AC.

Overall, I had a good experience at Tropicana Atlantic City. There’s a great variety of restaurants and stores, so there’s plenty to do without even leaving the property. The place was clean, though a bit dusty in some areas. The views were excellent, especially from the upper levels, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Tropicana Atlantic City delivers an amazing experience every single time. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the whole resort has a lively, upscale atmosphere that makes the trip feel special from the moment you arrive. The boardwalk access is unbeatable — you can step right outside and enjoy the beach, shops, and the energy of Atlantic City. Inside, the hotel has everything: great restaurants, fun bars, and plenty of entertainment so you never run out of things to do. The casino floor is big, well-kept, and always feels exciting. Even when it’s busy, the staff is friendly, helpful, and keeps things running smoothly. Whether you’re here for a getaway, a night out, or a full weekend trip, Tropicana hits the perfect balance of comfort, fun, and convenience. Highly recommend — one of the best stays in Atlantic City.

A surprisingly fun, full-scale mini-vacation all under one roof. I’ve stayed at the Tropicana multiple times, and every visit ends up being its own little adventure. The place is huge — basically a self-contained city — and you can wander for hours without ever stepping outside. Restaurants, shops, lounges, long hallways that make you feel like you’re in an airport… it’s all part of the charm. The rooms are comfortable and clean, exactly what you want after a long day on the boardwalk. The beds are dangerous in the best way — you lie down for "just a minute," and suddenly it’s morning. Some rooms have great views of the ocean or the city, and some face… roofs. But even those are totally fine and quiet. The atmosphere downstairs is always lively. Even if you’re not into casinos, there’s plenty to keep you busy — people-watching alone is practically a full attraction. The location right on the boardwalk is perfect. You can head straight out for a walk, stop for food, or just enjoy the beach air before coming back inside where it’s bright, warm, and buzzing. Overall, the Tropicana is reliable, entertaining, and surprisingly relaxing once you settle in. Every time I stay here, I leave thinking, "Yeah… I’d come back again."
