Super 8 by Wyndham Aurora/Naperville Area

Booked my stay through booking.com. called ahead asked about the king suite with a jacuzzi in the room. Gentleman gave me the price so I went ahead and booked online. When I arrived at the hotel I was then informed that I had to give a $150 deposit on the room that I had already reserved bringing the total cost now to $310. I explained to him I was never told about a deposit he said that it's clearly shown on bookie.com and it's not. I was frustrated could not cancel my room and could not switch rooms. I paid the money checked into my room. Immediately discovered the bathroom was dirty and never cleaned had urine and blood on the toilet seat and down inside the toilet. Went to the front desk he then moved me to the room next door which he ran over and cleaned real quick LOL so I'm assuming it really is not clean once inside the room discovered many things wrong with it. Just can't believe I was charged $310 for such a crappy room. Very poor management I think they could do better

Service was nice. Got a king suite. Staff made efforts to make sure I was accommodated to the standard I liked, and I wish I was more thorough in hindsight. I later found what I believe to be discharge on the head board of the bed, hidden behind the pillow. And when trying to use the in room soaker tub, the filter spat out a hairball onto me and my partner. It was disgusting and made us feel gross. I do hope that the staff is more thorough in cleaning in the future. Those at the front desk were amazing. Those two things aside, the hotel was quite nice, and I did like the look of the interior.

I didn’t expect much and the reality lived up to that. Everything is in need of an upgrade and a refresh. Rooms are dated. First impression in the room was the light smell of cigarette smoke. The carpet had historical stains. I didn’t expect a breakfast to be included, but I wouldn’t really call it a breakfast. Wonderbread and cereal dispensers. The coffee machine was very sad. I would not recommend staying here.

I stayed in this hotel in room 314 from the night of 19.02.26 to 20.02.26 I had money with me in my bag which I put in the bedside table near the bed in the morning this bedside table was ajar but I left there and then found that there was not enough 1000 US dollars in my money at night someone came into my room from this situation I feel very bad and creepy how can it be to understand this bag was always with me and I put the money there before staying in this hotel I strongly recommend to anyone and never stay there the very realization that someone can enter the room when you sleep it is very creepy.

Clean rooms on arrival. No cleaning whatsoever during ghe stay. 'We don't clean the rolm or change the sheets on beds during your stay'. Swimming pool is out of order, broken lamps not fixed. Do not expect too much from the breakfast. Beds are good.
