Rachael's Inner Harbor Boutique Inn

Book it! I love a good B&B and Rachael's Dowry is one of the most charming I've visited. The Letitia Mae Suite is immaculate with a HUGE clawfoot soaking tub, beautiful balcony and cozy electric fireplace. Sam guided me safely onto the premises from the (free) private lot behind the Inn and shared a terrific dinner recommendation, Angie's Seafood. Located in the middle of an urban oasis sits this historic (black owned, bonus!) home-turned-Inn. I'm excited ro return in summer to take advantage of the pretty courtyard and a ballgame. The location is steps from Camden Yards!

What a wonderful weekend! Met friends at Rachel’s for a football game. The property is within walking distance to both stadiums and the Inner Harbor. The accommodations were lovely, very comfortable and inviting, and breakfast was delicious. Linda and Sam were gracious hosts and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Historic inn with modern conveniences... in a residential area that's adjacent to Baltimore landmarks...with a friendly innkeeper in an equally welcoming town: that's Rachel's Dowry and who could ask for more. Lovingly restored home that's clean and convenient, filled with pride and beauty. Lovely shared areas downstairs and comfortable rooms with in-room bathrooms, big screen TV, and WiFi. I recommend this B&B and will stay there again.

As a lot of other reviews have commented, Linda, who is both the owner and innkeeper, is lovely and a very affable and friendly host. She also makes a great breakfast. I especially liked her take on eggs benedict. The building is a historic building, especially by American standards and even as a Brit, it is still fairly old and with an interesting history, which Linda will gladly tell you about. My room was very spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable and the room was also nice and clean. I arrived by car, so appreciated having a designated and free parking space. If you are in town for either a Orioles or Ravens game, then it is just around the corner from both of their stadiums. Certainly recommend staying here, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Baltimore and is a lot more personal compared to staying in a hotel.

I found this B&B for a surprise getaway near Valentine's Day two years ago or so. It was cheap and in Baltimore which were the only criteria and I have to say that our expectations were not very high. However, the simple, historic charm of the place - the furnishings, original windows, creaking wood of the stairs, amazing brickwork, and beautifully preserved architecture were beyond our expectations. If that was not enough, the little courtyard with the ancient Magnolia tree and brick walk made the view fit in so well with the feel of the place. Linda's effort to accommodate and make us feel welcome were above and beyond anything I've experienced at a B&B (and the tailored breakfast was gorgeous). It set the tone for the entire weekend. I wish her and Rachael's Dowery all the best.

It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was used to be a historical private building with more than 200 years. When you live, it has a vintage feel but is very comfortable, luxurious and safe. I think it's equivalent to a 5-star hotel. It's located in the old city center, right next to the stadium. I would like to live here next time.

So I saw this place on google and thought it was a museum at first,I wasn't completely wrong, I could rent a suite in it to spend some qality time! especially since I'm coming from out of the states, I wanted to try something different form what I'm used to, the place sent me back to the 1700s, the furniture that they kept in good shape, the Aura I'd say of the place, it felt like I was in a Hstorical bubble within a modern city. The person running it was really welcoming and always had a smile on. We booked the carrie frank suite I believe, really enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was light but filling, I also liked the courtyard, even though it's winter and the weather was cold, I still enjoyed my coffee outside. Money well spent I'd say for the amount of quiet time I got and how dashing the place is. Would definitely come back again.
