Stayed here for a work trip and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nice, clean and the beds were comfy. I could hear the freeway from my room since I was on that side of the building, but it wasn’t too loud. I was there for a conference I attended, and it had a big enough space to accommodate the event well. The staff that helped with setup, breakfast and lunch and everything else seemed great. They were helpful and respectful. The food was good as well. You never know what you’re going to get at an event with so many people, but each meal was good. Overall a positive experience. The only minor complaint is the outlets in the room were all pretty worn out, so I had to wedge the desk phone between my phone and computer charger to keep them from falling out.

Positive: The room was very spacious and had the basic amenities like small refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron Negative: That they charge a Parking fee of $9 plus tax and that you have to scan a QR code to pay for it. There are no attractions or downtown near by so why charge paying customers a parking fee

I stayed here for the first time for a work trip! I am a Titanium Elite member and usually stay at another Marriott property when in the area, but wanted to give this location a try. My only issue was, I had to ask all the questions I should have been informed of. I saw there was a concierge lounge l but was not given this info upon checking in. Once I say I asked about it and was told yes there was one, then I had to ask where it was located. I had to ask where was the microwave located! These are all things that should have been explained at check-in, especially since I advised I had never stayed at this property before. Other than that, the room was super nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and location worked well for me!

I have been staying at this hotel for years. It is one of the best in Baton Rouge. It gets everything right. Front desk, bar, restaurant, rooms, and personnel. The reason I gave four stars is the third party parking company. They charge 11.95 a night. You can not put on room. You have to click on their sight and pay. This is a pain for expenses and your customer vehicles. Please change this, the signs for parking everywhere is hideous.

It is 4am and I am laying in bed hearing EVERY engine on the freeway. I wish I had read the reviews before so I could ask for a room away from the freeway. I am not looking forward to being up in four hours for a funeral. Not only will we be emotionally drained but also tired. To be fair the staff is wonderful though. Nice rooms

The room itself is fine, standard with lots of USB plugs, which is convenient when you need to charge 5+ devices. You can hear the highway for sure (I was on 17th floor), but it just becomes background noise after a little while. However, I can hear every word of the conversation next door when they are in the bathroom because I heard shower water running. The lot across the street is abandoned. There are multiple hotels 2 minutes away but in much better surroundings. Parking is separate $11 a day after including service fee and tax. And I was charged for 4 days with arrival and departure are considered 2 days. Also there were signs saying breakfast buffet is $23 but actual bill is $8.75(?) I guess it’s better for me but confusing.
