Drury Inn & Suites Baton Rouge

Paid extra for a jacuzzi room and the jets did not work so I was able to get a refund for $30. Nice evening reception with food and drinks and breakfast was adequate- eggs, sausage patties, toast, yogurt, waffles. Great value for the price, highly recommend. Place was clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly.

Positive: The included breakfast was nice, and my son loved the pool! Negative: I wish the hot tub temperature had been slightly higher. And our room had a slight odor, but it wasn’t so bad that I felt the need to switch rooms.

Bedbugs, badly bitten. I stayed in room 709, Feb 9-13. This was my 4th consecutive week staying in this hotel in other rooms during the weeks. Its nice--I like the staff. But I was badly infested last week and frankly, still in pain with the bad bedbug bites on my back and legs. Yes, I called them and emailed. The desk clerk moved me mid-week to another room when the bites started to well up on my body. (If you never had this, the bites take 12-18 hours or so to manifest--bad knot-like welts with deep red bruising). I'm writing this review to warn others. The hotel does not seem to have a protocol for dealing with it. No one even returned my calls or emails. The desk clerk, while polite took no actions or organized approach. I'm writing in the hope that the facility will be forced to take action, as I wish someone had done before I suffered from this. I have weeks left working in BR: I'll be staying elsewhere. My bites were so severe they required medical treatment, corticosteroid injection and have only now started to abate, a week later.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location in Florida was amazing overall—five stars without question. But this location was also amazing Everyone was just as great, and honestly, if I could rate them higher than five stars, I would. The staff was friendly all around, and the bartender (I didn’t catch her name) was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She also makes really great drinks! The atmosphere, service, and experience were all top-notch. I’ll definitely be back.

This place was amazing. After a long car ride, this place was better then great. We were heading home to Canada after a vacation to Texas. It had enough room for my husband and I and 3 kids. 2 teenagers and a nine year old. The room was clean, spacious and beautiful. Beds were comfortable. The front desk lady was super helpful on everything I requested. Breakfast the next morning was the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. Lots of variety. Lisa the attendant was so sweet. Loved talking with her. Never got a chance to use the pool or hottub but they looked very inviting. If we are ever back in the area we would 100% stay here again.

I like this hotel. I've stayed here a couple times now. The rooms are very, very clean and well-maintained. We arrived for check in at 12:30AM and had to use a wall mounted phone to notify the attendant in order to access the lobby. The night manager was quick and efficient checking us in. We had requested a room on a high floor away from the elevator and we got just that. Our room was spacious, clean, and stocked with a bar of soap, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in refillable bottles in the shower. It would've been nice if they'd provided a couple complimentary bottles of water. When we realized there was none in the room, we had to go down to the lobby market and buy some at 1AM. $5.51 for two bottles. The sink drain in our room was slow and could use maintenance. Other than that, we found everything to be in good order. The AC blows COLD! The

From checking inn, to breakfast and Kick Off, the staff is wonderful. The hotel is clean, the location is very convenient and near many local restaurants and entertainment venues. The only reason that I will not give 5 stars over all is the issue of missing personal items that the cleaning service insists we're not found. This is the second time that this has happened, for me, at a Drury location. Mind you, I am well aware that forgetting items in a hotel room, is my own fault, but it is truly boggling how 2 of us witnessed the items that were left in the bedside table drawer and within 1 hour of checking out and leaving the property, the housekeeping staff totally denies finding the 2 very expensive, personally important, custom designed, pocket knives, that both, my friend and I, saw and forgot (each of us thought the other packed them), left in the room???!?!! What if it were my diamond ring or a pair of shoes??? When I spoke to the person that answered the phone, she told me that the knives were not there. When I explained to her that I know that they were, she got rude and snippy with me and disconnected. I have NEVER had anyone at a Drury reply or react in such a way and I was appalled. What was an incredibly enjoyable, work related stay, ended on an extremely dim and tainted note. This is the second time a Drury housekeeping staff member(s) has denied finding personal items in the room IMMEDIATELY after check-out. Do better Drury.
