Great location downtown you can walk to several places. They also have a shuttle. The rooms are nicely appointed but very small. We lucked up on the Mardi Gras parade which was on the street in front of the hotel so you could head down to the street level or stay in your room and observe. I also loved the proximity to the river. There was a small convenience area where I purchased water and a full restaurant which I did not get a chance to visit. The hotel was pretty quiet. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice and attentive.
Staff were very friendly. Rewards Club recognition received. Snacks and drinks available, in addition to an on-site restaurant. After check-in, received a text from "Samuel," inquiring if everything was OK with the room. First time ever that had happened at a hotel and very impressive and appreciated! The decor was unique and tied in together nicely. Beds were very comfy. Several ports available where electronics could be charged. Book lights made into the headboards (1 on each side). Interesting pictures on the wall behind the beds, even had backdrop lighting on the backside of the beds which could double as nightlights if you wanted to leave them on. The retro mini fridge was adorable and the keurig coffee maker appeared to be either new or super, super clean. We had a city view room across from the convention center but were still able to see the river. Bathroom was clean and walk-in shower was very nice. Body wash, shampoo, etc included. Free shuttle service to the airport. I would Def stay here again and highly recommend the Indigo in Baton Rouge, LA!!
Decent stay overall. Good location. Rooms nicely decorated. You can tell they’ve been renovated. As other reviewers mentioned, the rooms are very small … the queen sized bed took up most of the space… but you sort of expect that with a boutique-ish hotel. Bathroom had a nice shower stall and water pressure was great. Fitness center was adequate; cardio and a few free weights. Valet parking was $33 with in and out privileges.
We stayed at Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown by IHG during our visit to Baton Rouge and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel sits in the heart of downtown and delivers a nice balance of modern comfort with touches that reflect the character of historic Baton Rouge. Our room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities like a coffee maker and free Wi-Fi, making it easy to relax after a full day of exploring. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which added to the relaxed and easygoing feel of the place. The location is excellent — a short walk from the Mississippi River and close to many sights and restaurants downtown. There’s also an on-site restaurant and bar if you feel like grabbing a drink or meal without going far. A solid choice if you want a central, well-run hotel with good service while discovering the city.
Stayed at Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge and overall it was a solid experience. The staff is genuinely friendly from the moment you walk in. The hotel itself is clean and well kept, and the rooms are comfortable. Beds were solid and the room felt fresh. Valet was fast and efficient, and Aaron deserves a shoutout because he was consistently on point. Big plus that the hotel is dog friendly. We had our two small dogs with us and every staff member we interacted with was welcoming and relaxed about it. Having a restaurant and bar on site is also convenient, especially after a long day. The downsides are mostly about amenities. Breakfast was underwhelming. Limited options, and it did not even open at 6:30 a.m., which is frustrating if you are up early. We ended up going to another hotel just to get Starbucks. The gym is also small. It was clean, but missing basic weights, so it is not great if you actually want a real workout. Overall, not a bad stay. Friendly people, clean and comfortable rooms, and smooth valet service made it easy. The breakfast situation was the biggest miss, and the gym could use an upgrade. If they fixed the morning food options, this would be an easy recommendation.
I booked a suite with a joining room for my girls to get ready in the morning of my wedding and it was perfect. There was 10 of us getting ready, plus a handful of others rotating in and out as the day went on. We had plenty of room for all of us, our stuff, hair and makeup, plus our food and drinks! The tub and shower were perfect for relaxing the night before the wedding. A fan favorite of my whole group was the tiger painting. We loved how clean the rooms and lobby were. The people who worked the front desk were so kind. They allowed early check in and late check out for the majority of my wedding party. They even allowed our groomsmen to drop off their tuxes downstairs as they checked out, so we could pick them all up in one place when we left.
The view was incredible and the rooms were great! Cute appliances. The valet was almost the same price as self parking in the area- so totally worth it! And the staff is so kind! Everything downtown is within walking distance. We were in town for my husband's job, but we did recreational vacation things when we found time, too. We loved it.
