I read a LOT of reviews & this hotel have a few lower reviews mostly about staff but I decided to try it. By FAR this hotel beat out every other hotel I've stayed in anywhere in a LONG time! I couldn't find even 1 tiny thing wrong. I kept waiting because usually things show themselves, But NOPE. Staff were nice, knowledgeable, friendly & generally happy. The room was soooo clean. Not 1 spot of mold, property damage or signs of age & everything worked properly. The room smelled nice & there was even a printed laminated TV channel guide. That in itself was GREAT. The breakfast was just fine too. It was quiet & peaceful. Granted it is the off season but I'm still happy. I had heard a lot about BE CAREFUL IN BILLINGS, LOCK YOUR CAR, ECT.... The location was away from downtown & housing areas in more of a hotel district which felt nice & safe. I was in town for medical & only stayed 1 night, but this will be my choice hotel in Billings from now on.
Excellent place to stay, very clean with helpful staff! Waterpark looks awesome (we didn’t use it but took a look and it has several big slides and small ones as well as many other water features!)! Arcade was huge, too! We will bring the kids next time! All that being said, this is a kids resort. So if you seek peace and quiet, you will not find it here. Kids running around having a great time, lol. Also, if you plan on watching TV … there isn’t a TV guide so you have to go through all the channels one by one (parents beware!). Otherwise, wonderful visit 😀
If you’re going with kids to enjoy the water park-great. Otherwise, we will not return. Dirty rooms! Sticky floors, hair and "other stuff" in shower. Paper thin walls. Rooms as basic as basic gets. Kids yelling and running in adjoining rooms & hallways till midnight! Blame parents here for being disrespectful of other guests trying to sleep!!!! Overall, bad experience! Low quality hotel with costs that far exceed the value.
The big watersides were closed before the rest of the waterpark closed. There were only 4 tubes for the wave pool. The whole point of a wave pool is to float. Should have had a lot more tubes. Lots of little kids in the hot tub even though the sign said no kids under age 12. They were splashing and jumping into it. No lifeguards were enforcing the rules. They did nothing about it. It's a decent waterpark, but you need to get more tubes and keep kids out of the hot tub. The beds were hard and uncomfortable.
The walls in our room were SO thin! We heard a group next to us arrive at 2:45am. We could hear every word they were saying like they were in the same room. LOTS of swear words and they were obviously intoxicated. We had 2 little kids with us who could hear everything. I called the front desk to see if someone would ask them to quiet down and was met with attitude. Then the people next door preceded to have sex. Loudly. It was disgusting. We could hear everything...and like I said, we had two children with us. Traumatizing. Cheaply built hotel with no insulation between rooms. Very disappointed.
We love staying here and will stay again. The location is very convenient for us and we love that it’s kid friendly. However this last time our room was not very clean, there was hair in the sink and a wad of more hair in the shower with body wash marks on the walls, sticky floors it was obvious it wasn’t cleaned well, but we are not ones to complain, and it was a very short stay for a Dr appt, we’ve had other great experiences we will be back still.
I like that the hotel is connected to the Waterpark and that they serve a continental breakfast...but that's the only benefit of staying here. The rooms are LOUD. You can hear EVERY single footstep outside of your room...the hallway, stairwell, and above and below your room. There is zero sound proofing and people were stomping around like elephants from about 6am to midnight each day we were here. Worst sleep of my life! Also the beds are horrible, think Temu level bad! They are spring beds and feel harder than sleeping on the floor. There were no pillow covers or sheet covers under any of our sheets (I'm sure they wash the bedding, but that felt gross). The pillows were as thin as paper towels and offered no comfort or support. The rooms themselves were clean-ish, but there were definitely food stains/residue on some of our counter spaces. It felt like staying in an over priced Super 8 Motel. The customer service team at the hotel were friendly and nice. The breakfast was lacking each morning. Half of the time they wouldn't restock a majority of the foods or milks. The variety was slim pickings for what I'm used to for hotel breakfast options. Our last morning there, the lady working the breakfast area was putting food away and speed cleaning an hour before breakfast was even supposed to close. That was a major turn off for me....we made it in time for our food, but there were families still coming down to eat after us and they had no options for food. I would NOT recommend staying here based on our experience and how expensive this hotel was compared to the experience we had. We've stayed at Great Wolf Lodges and Six Flags Great Escape Lodges before and this was a far cry from being close to either of those experiences for near the same costs. I'd recommend staying at one of the other local hotels and walking or driving to the water park for my own sanity and comfort in the future. This hotel needs mega upgrades to the facility and and customer service options before I'd ever consider coming back.
