Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa

My company hosts regular meetings at this hotel, but it was my first time to attend—and wow, was I impressed! The space and location are beautiful. We didn’t play golf, but the course looks incredible and picturesque. We had a catered lunch, and it was excellent. Also, hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had in a meeting. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Well done, Ross Bridge—can’t wait to come back!

It would have been a lot better had the hotel bar not blasted music until 2am. It was so loud it drowned out my white noise machine like it wasn’t even there. Not being able to relax and sleep in my room made for a terrible experience. I felt like I was in the the part of town you try to avoid instead of a 4 diamond hotel. On a positive note, the breakfast was great and Billy, who made my omelette was fantastic. He made the dining experience great, especially when he came around and spoke with me by name. The spa was also really nice and Darrius and Violet did a great job. The outdoor pool was nice with the water fall, the fire pits were really nice, and they had a pretty good fitness center. Better than most. Not getting any sleep though due to the hotel bar blasting their music was a huge downside though. Both nights I stayed the music was continuously blasting. Not worth the money if you have to listen to that all night. As a reference, I was on the 4th floor terrace view.

Great visit and service. This is a great hotel but really not close to much in Birmingham. That being said, it is only a short drive to downtown, homewood and other areas that are entertaining. The staff was great, especially the valet that really helped us out with traveling early in AM and late at night. Highly recommend a stay here. I think these are the biggest rooms in the city and very clean.

Had a little getaway here at the Renaissance. And from the moment of arrival, meeting the guys who greeted me out front, to the sweet lady Serena, who checked me in, I had pleasurable experience. Very good atmosphere. Billy, the chef who makes great omelettes, very Nice and cordial individual. I really enjoyed the scenery in the stay. And when I checked out, I had the pleasure of communicating with Serena again. Thanks.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 10 days on a golf trip. From the time we checked in till the time we left every staff member we came in contact with was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping accommodated any request we had. We ate at the three restaurants in the hotel and the food was very good in all of them. The golf course is spectacular and I could’ve played on that course every day. I would definitely return to this hotel for my next stay as well as more rounds of golf on the course. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. A big thank you to everyone at this hotel for a wonderful 10 day stay.

Located on the outskirts of Birmingham, this is a beautiful resort that looks like a mansion from the outside. I stayed here for a business trip and was greeted very politely upon checking in. The room was also great; it was spacious, and the bathroom had a shower + bathtub. The resort grounds are also very pretty with the spa, poolside, and golf course adorning the grounds. Very happy overall. I just wish they'd provided a microwave on premises for the guests to heat up their food/beverages (I can understand rooms not having them due to fire safety rules). And the electric chargers should also ideally be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We had a great experience. The staff was wonderful including Austin in recreation, Ashley, our server at Brocks, and Princess at the front desk all were very accommodating. We had a great time. Loved the stay!
