Opera House Hotel

We stayed for 5 days 4 nights. Amazingly clean and very fairly priced. Great value! All employees were extremely helpful especially housekeeping on the third floor and Sandra at Breakfast. Sandra was awesome! Parking is a little tricky if you drive but we were able to find parking every night either at the hotel or on the street. The neighborhood isn’t what it was back in the day but it’s not Tribeca either. Be careful at night. Overall an amazing hotel in a central area to the Bronx mid town and the heights. Thank you!

Checked in for three nights and was pleasantly surprised. Reception staff were friendly and efficient, quickly sorted a late arrival with a smile. Room was spotless, fresh linens and a tidy bathroom - felt cared for. Building has a relaxed, slightly vintage vibe that made evenings cozy. Location is practical and prices are very reasonable, excellent value for a clean, comfortable stay without fuss.

This hotel was great! The staff was so very friendly and helpful- we loved the Perivian and Mexican restaurant recommendations atound the corner. The room was quite comfortable with a nice attention to detail. There were some characters in the streets walking to the Metro (which was only 2 short blocks away), but we never felt unsafe, just like we are in the biggest city in the US. The continental breakfast was delicious, and they even had Eggo toaster waffles. The only pic I took was of the shower gels/creams. Hope it's helpful.

Ist off the staff was definitely friendly. But when we arrived 2 young ladies outside smoking Marijuana! My room bed had black spots and hair on mattress the staff upgraded to a better room well guess what that room had dirty brown wet towels, TV didn't work overall the hotel has potential but definitely needs TLC I don't know if short staff but I don't think I'll be returning

Really nice hotel. Near trains and buses making it easy to travel into the city. The area not to shabby but overall, you'll get some rest after your trip.

very clean and neat hotel, rooms are very big and spacious. not much of a view but in the heart of the bronx, which is an experience. staff are very friendly especially Abdul, was very nice and cool guy. the breakfast however could use some improvement by adding more variety options instead of just croissants and cereal, maybe scrambled eggs and sausages. but it wasn't the end of the world it just gives opportunity to go out in the city and eat out at the local restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and wish i could have stayed longer.
