Ocean Palms Beach Resort Carlsbad Beach

Stayed here for the location, which was great. The room was clean. Staff was nice. HOWEVER, knowing they had kitchens, we brought food for the freezer and the fridge. Both were cold and seemed to be working, but when we went to open ice cream, it was completely melted. Fridge was not working as it should be either, causing us to throw about $100 worth of food away. I spoke with staff the day we noticed it, they said they would tell maintenance (along with tiles lifting in the bathroom). The following day we checked out and the guy said he would tell management. It's been 2 weeks and I have not heard from anyone. Sucks to have paid that much money to stay there and lose more money on faulty appliance. If you plan on staying here, be cautious.

There are so many great things about this place! The location is perfect. The grounds are spectacular. Beau, at the front desk, is so nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are nice, clean, well appointment and CUTE! If you're looking for that beach resort that gives you the full beach experience, Ocean Palms is the place. The pool area is gorgeous. The fire pits are so lovely at night. What you see on the website is exactly what you get. It is my new favorite vacation destination.

Our second time staying here. Simple accommodations. Clean. Super great staff. Location is incredible for our needs. We love to walk, and everything is within walking distance. We can't wait to come back with the kids and grandkids and stay in a family unit!

The customer service was top notch. The resort was clean and the staff was so friendly. Support local! This property is family owned, and their intention to keep their guests happy and satisfied was excellent.

Love the location. The nightly fire pits are great. The beds are not good at all. Need to be replaced. And the plastic couch is so uncomfortable. We had some broken items in our room. Took some time to get fixed.

My only complaint would be the need to upgrade the pillows. We had the ocean view corner room, perfect! Highly recommend location, lots of nice restaurants around.

Great experience with my family. We had the two bedroom and loved our labor day weekend! Clean and enjoyable Pool/spa for the kids. Right next to the beach. Would definitely recommend to ppl with littles.
