West Inn & Suites

Booked this hotel for our Legoland trip! Only 6 minutes away! We're a family of 4 and loved our room, super spacious. We added a roll on bed and fit perfectly right next to our bed. The couch also turned into a pullout bed for our 16 year old! The beach is a minute away on the next block! We loved this hotel so much. The rooms were super clean, everyone was super friendly. They have a gas station right next door. We loved the pool & jacuzzi, complimentary breakfast with alot of options to eat and milk and cookies at night! My daughter had left her plushie at the hotel and didn't notice until we got to Las Vegas. They were kind enough to send it back to us! Its next to the freeway andbyou can't hear the traffic at all. Can't wait to book this hotel again!

The rooms are really suited for families with kids! Gives them ample space to run around.. the hot breakfast options are decent and taste good as well. It's clean and maintained neat! Also additional benefit, they offer cookies with milk every night from 8-9PM. The kids enjoyed that during our stay so much! They also did room service everyday of our stay!

My hubby and I stayed here, for a quick little one day getaway, for our anniversary. The hotel is pet friendly but I wanted to email them ahead of time to let them know that my disabled husband’s support dog will be with us. Great communication via email and great service from all of their staff. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, plus they serve milk & cookies in the evenings! The free buffet style breakfast was amazing with so many food options. We booked the Premier Suite King bed + sofa bed. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfy, the pillows are to die for, and the entire room was very clean! The hotel sits about a block away from the beach. And there’s a gas station/convenience store next door as well as a cute little park across the street. The area is very peaceful, and we felt safe walking around day and night. You’re not far from Carlsbad Village, which is the city’s lovely downtown area, with quaint little shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. We loved staying here so much that we decided to stay another night. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Good service, but lighting is not bright enough

The property is absolutely amazing. The front staff make you feel like you're at home. The rooms are clean and have every amenities you may need including a microwave, small sink and a fridge. The beds were big and comfy. The property itself is very welcoming. The pools open for long hours. They provide free board games for kids to play along that milk and cookies at night. The complimentary hot breakfast was pretty Good as well. They offered sausage, potato and egg. Had a waffle maker. Fresh pastries and hot coffee. On a side note is literally a small short drive from everything including the beaches,Legoland, restaurants and shopping! Overall we will be back.

Shydell made our experience amazing! I love when people actually care about their job and are kind to others! She went out of her way to tell us about local spots and made our stay so much easier with our kids! 10/10 will stay here and recommend this location because of her and the staff that took care of cleaning our room! The cookies and milk was such a cute touch!
