Belmont Hill Victorian B & B

If we ever make our way down to Cedar Rapids again I'm not even going to bother looking anywhere else to stay. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable, great breakfasts.....Ken and Shelley are well, we feel like we just made new friends.

A romantic BnB that not only is easy to get to, the hosts are fantastic company and make an amazing breakfast. The historic estate charms you while the comfy beds leave you rested and ready for your next day. Highly recommended and planning to stay again if in the area.

We loved our stay at Belmont Hill! My wife and I were breaking up our road trip and were so happy we chose a bed and breakfast over a hotel. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the rooms at Belmont Hill are super clean and decorated with gorgeous antiques. Our room had a comfy king bed, great linens, and a nice shower with good pressure and hot water. |Shelley and Ken are expert hosts, and our breakfast was an experience. We were served on beautiful china, and enjoyed great coffee. The food was delicious as well. My wife is gluten free, and that was no problem at all. We have decided to make Belmont Hill a regular stop as we travel through Iowa. The whole experience was so much more pleasant and relaxing than our typical hotel stay.

This is our second stay at Belmont Hill Bed and Breakfast in Cedar Rapids, IA.|The rooms are kept very clean! We stayed three days this time and each day the bed, room, and bathroom were tidied up. The room looked as it did when we arrived! Breakfast each day is delicious, nutritious food with special presentation and plating! The history of their home is very interesting! The hosts are friendly and are very knowledgeable about the history of their Victorian home and the gardening. They have run the bed and breakfast property 28 years! |We enjoyed visits with other guests! One evening we ate outside! They have lawn swings to relax and enjoy! We also saw a fawn run through the yard!|Children and adults can enjoy a fairy/gnome garden! You will enjoy your stay in many different ways!

We just enjoyed the best experience of hospitality, history and conversation with Shelly and Ken! Their Belmont Hill Victorian B&B is at the top of excellence! Their talents have created and compliment the work they have done for 29 years to build this lovely place where they live . . . and that they share with others! If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, clean, well kept place to stay, this is it! Breakfast was delicious! We eat gluten free, so the best cinnamon apple french toast was served along with fresh fruit, sausage and coffee! The gardening and grounds are lovely! Parking is safe and away from the public.

We stayed several nights recently while visiting family and it was fantastic. Inviting, beautiful location tucked away in a quiet location Shelley and Ken have created this welcoming solitude, and are gracious hosts. We enjoyed engaging conversation and learned of the history of the property over breakfasts that consisted of fresh fruit, omelets one morning and apple cinnamon French toast another. Did I mention the delicious coffee? The dining area is perfectly decorated with history by Shelley and she has a knack for making things feel very homey. The grounds are lovely with mature trees and beautiful gardens. You'll be sure to see bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks hopping around We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely make this our destination when we're in CR. It was a perfect location for us, as our family is on the SW and NW sides of town. Try to book this location directly, with the B&B itself. Thank you Shelley and Ken for a wonderful stay.

The upstairs room in the Coach house was beautiful! The breakfasts were delicious, it was a very relaxing stay, our hosts were attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend Belmont Hill! ❤️
