Hilton Garden Inn Cedar Rapids

We had an excellent experience at the SafePlace Banquet! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The location is convenient with ample parking, and having the hotel, bar, and restaurant all onsite made everything so easy. Highly recommend this venue for your next event in Cedar Rapids!

The rooms are what is expected from a Hilton and the front counter service. My issue was with the breakfast service. They did not have any cold good quality yogurt selection, or boiled eggs (things one would expect from a Hilton) nor did they have a good fruit or sweetener selections. They only had 1 person attending the large group I was with (that was booked in advanced so they knew what to expect) so this poor woman although quick to bring the recipe for us to sign was not taking drink orders or coming back to refill drinks or pick up plates. For this reason this place gets a lower review. Not only that but out of other Hiltons I've stayed in? The food quality overall was very low. 👍 👎 👎

Stayed for just one night after a late, last-minute flight for a funeral. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived even later than expected, but the service at 10:30 PM was genuinely impressive. Dark (yes, that’s really his name!) greeted me in the most magical way — literally. He was incredibly kind throughout check-in, and while I waited for my wife to pick out a bottle of wine, he entertained me with card tricks. It was such a fun, unexpected way to pass the time, and he was so happy to share them. As someone who loves magic, I appreciated it so much. Justin helped my wife choose a bottle of wine and went the extra mile to make sure it was exactly what she wanted. He was super pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. Our room was clean and comfortable. We weren’t there long, but breakfast smelled amazing even though we didn’t have time to stay and eat. Overall, a great experience during a tough trip.

My husband and I have not stayed at the hotel but we come for breakfast on Sunday mornings. The food is always good, the prices are great for what you get. I always appreciate how attentive Kirsten is. Margo is great too.

Romms were nice. However we had to wait an extra hour after check in time to get into it. Hotel staff tried to be accommodating. Food quality was not very good. Food service folks were great.

Great hotel. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and really nice. Beds were comfy with big fluffy pillows. Enjoyed our stay!

Newer hotel very nice and great lobby. Staff is so friendly.. thank you to the restaurant and room service guy tonight! Great salmon! I recommend eating here.
