Radisson Hotel Cedar Rapids

They always welcome me and my kids when we stay for several days at a time. They are friendly, kind to my kids, and allow them to have a lot of fun. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which is necessary and exciting. The project hasn't caused much disruption which is nice. I'm looking forward to staying in a renovated room. The old rooms are definitely dated, but the staff does their best to keep everything clean and provides great service. The newly opened grille has served delicious food. I've also noticed the breakfast options expanding, which is nice.

My husband has been staying here for a couple weeks and hasn’t been disappointed. We have been coming out a few days at a time to stay with him and our kids love the environment of the hotel and the staff have been amazing. Very tentative and kind to our wild crew. Breakfast has been great with simple food and wonderful service. The pool and hot tube are clean and stocked with towels. We have been very happy with everything! Would continue to visit. Staff are great, rooms are spacious, and environment is clean and cozy.

Lisa at the front desk was amazing! She was working the front desk and cleaning up rooms at the same time, she for sure is one of the greatest assets the hotel has. Most definitely should give this girl a raise. Going above and beyond, and still able to meet every expectation. Very impressed with her work ethic and thank you Lisa for going above and beyond your line of duty to make our stay more than we could have expected!

This is a large, familiar property under new ownership and undergoing a huge renovation. Previous ownership had deferred necessary maintenance and updating of facilities and decor, resulting in the need for a sweeping renovation, which is now underway. Property is large with an atrium design and many facilities for accommodating large groups. I've stayed here many times under the previous flag and ownership, and several times under current ownership and affiliation with Choice Hotels as a Radisson. Slowly, the renovation is taking place, with this stay as the first in a newly renovated room. I enjoyed the updated decor with new colors and the fully renovated bathroom that includes a waterfall shower head. The bar and restaurant area in the lobby area of the atrium is now open again, which is a welcome change from my previous stay. The location is convenient to area businesses, with many shopping and dining options nearby. Also, convenient to downtown and medical facilities. Full hot breakfast is included in the room rate, which is another attractive feature. Room rates are very reasonable. I look forward to future stays as the renovations continue!

Stayed for two nights and had a very nice room. Super spacious and newly remodeled. Great pool, hot tub. Leo made a great breakfast buffet and it was fun to visit with him! Can't wait to see the Radisson when the remodel is complete.

Site is being remodeled. Spacious rooms. Old decor. Very low toilets. Price was good. Large pool, small hot tub. Hot breakfast. Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Radisson is in renovation process. Nice, big space. Has bar and restaurant as well. We went to a place called, The Blind Pig 🐖- which was 2 miles away. Very good!

This is the former Collins Plaza hotel, formerly managed by Marriott. The bones of this hotel are still good! They had a lovely breakfast (complimentary) newly refurbished rooms and the same cool elevators/waterfall. Virginia at the front desk helped us when we got some noisy neighbors and she moved us to a nicer room! Really appreciate everybody there. GREAT value.
