Positive: Big room Negative: Amenities were not good no food restaurant and bar closed. Had to use card to buy anything no cash accepted. Had places near by but no menus or info about options to ear. $12 parking outrageous.

My wife and I checked in Late Thanksgiving night . The receptionist was cheerful and helpful. The next morning, things went south. |I have stayed at several Holiday Inns and other IHG properties and usually had great experiences but not here. I headed down to breakfast and since the restaurant (which the site falsely claims to be in business) was closed and there was a smaller Holiday Inn buffet. I started to grab a plate. The attendant rushed over and rudely told me I needed a ticket. He was rude from the get go and after his rant I said OK, I'll get a ticket! Then he told me I had a bad attitude and began to aggressively approach me. He got within a foot and a half. then I held my hand up to his chest and said Back off!. He then yelled "GET YOUR HAND OUT OF MY FACE! This brought the desk clerk over who sent him away. We got the ticket mess sorted out then I ate breakfast and did not interact with the young man anymore.|I called IHG customer service who were cordial and apologetic. They apparently|called the GM who was rude. Never again!

The building looks nice from outside, but the rooms need updated. The beds are hard. Breakfast should be provided with your stay instead of charging customers an extra, individual fee. The only amenity that is not an extra charge is coffee. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The service is lacking.

The hotel is in a nice area with grocery stores and a Target nearby. The grounds and lobby are well kept but the rooms are a little run down and not well cleaned. The breakfast is subpar even for a free hotel breakfast. However, the front desk staff were all fantastic.

I’m genuinely disappointed with how my recent stay was handled. I accidentally booked my check-in date one day early. When I arrived the following day, I stayed two nights instead of the originally mistaken booked one night, and I was part of a group of six additional colleagues, all of whom also stayed two nights. In total, our group accounted for 12 room nights at this hotel. Despite the fact that I clearly showed up, stayed longer than planned, and brought meaningful business with me, I was charged a no-show fee basically one night, for the original booking. I spoke to the front desk manager who spoke directly with the senior manager (who was so stand-offish) and politely asked for a reasonable accommodation: specifically, crediting the no-show charge given that: • I arrived only one day late due to a simple booking mistake • I extended my stay to two nights • I brought a group generating significant room revenue The request was flatly rejected, with no flexibility or consideration of the actual business the hotel received. Then I was told it was a sold out night, which I agreed for the night I stayed, but the night before, they weren’t: so they are not forthcoming with the truth. What makes this especially frustrating is that we are in the process of acquiring a company, which would have resulted in hundreds of future room nights for visiting staff and partners in the Chandler area. Unfortunately, based on this experience, those stays will absolutely not be at this property. Mistakes happen. Hospitality is about how you handle them. In this case, the lack of basic accommodation over a minor error—despite clear, immediate, and future business—ensured this will be my last stay here. This one’s a textbook case of winning the invoice and losing the customer. Thank you for the response, but I gave you a chance and was flat out rejected and it seems the hotels culture didn’t care. I am unsure what you mean you could fix this. How?

Kitchen and bar staff: lovely in every way. Front-desk staff --especially Sonia (sp?) -- PERFECT, helpful, and kind; however, unfortunate notable exception must be made for Chii who unlike her coworkers consistently acted combative and weirdly hostile on every occasion I had to interact with her. Bumpiness of *some* service notwithstanding, the massive failure of this otherwise decent property was its significant amenity failures, most specifically their baffling lack of ability to provide the advertised wifi for even a single moment of a multi-day stay. It just never worked, and multiple mentions to staff did not resolve the issue. Primarily pointing to corporate in this failure as, when I later brought it to corporate's attention they took no accountability for the significant amenity failure - as if some of us have the luxury of being able to just not log in to their job while traveling?? Crazy work and I was shocked that corporate offered zero concession for this massive failure. Now I have to escalate the issue and that's frustrating, so other travelers be forewarned that if you expect to use internet on either your laptop or device -- you'll be using your data and because of that, most likely won't be able to connect to work the ENTIRE TIME. It is 2025 in Phoenix, right? Also notably unexceptional were the hot tub that so badly needed a "fresh-up" that when I stepped a toe in, deciding whether to use it or not, one guest walking by glanced at the water, looked at me, then said, "too dirty for me" before moving on. He..wasn't wrong. The chain is value-priced for the area but still charging market rate, though when they categorically underperform on delivering amenities as advertised, they are not doing their brand any good, and I for one, will choose another option the next time I'm in the area. Edited to add: they have not refunded the $100 deposit some 6 weeks later so now THAT'S in dispute too. Shameful.
