St Francis Cottage

We stayed at the St. Francis Bed & Breakfast in Chattanooga for our 10-year wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful. Ten years ago, we spent our honeymoon at the Mayor’s Mansion, but they were fully booked this time—so we decided to take a chance on the St. Francis, and we’re so glad we did! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the bed was perfect. It had everything we needed, and they even provided plenty of thoughtful amenities in case you forgot something (I forgot my toothbrush, and they had me covered!). Breakfast was out of this world—truly some of the best we’ve ever had. Every detail, from the food to the hospitality, made our stay special. My husband and I booked this place for our honeymoon. Wallace and his wife Nancy were wonderful hosts! The rooms were so cute and cozy. They were very welcoming and patient with us when we arrived a bit late the first night. Worked with us on my dietary needs and the place is absolutely adorable. We recommend! This was our second year staying at St. Francis Cottage for our anniversary, and once again, we were thoroughly pleased. The atmosphere here promotes relaxation and serenity—something truly welcomed in today’s busy world.||From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, given a tour of the beautiful interior, and kindly assisted to our room. Wallace and Nancy are an absolute delight to talk with—some of the kindest and most genuine people we've ever met.||Our room was spacious, cozy, and felt just like home. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, which quickly became one of the culinary highlights of our entire trip.||If you're looking for a peaceful getaway hosted by wonderful people, St. Francis Cottage is a true gem. We can't wait to return!

Stayed just one night and wish I could have stayed a bit longer! My pup and I stayed in the Hydrangea room, which is quite spacious and has such welcoming touches, including pet bowls and a dog bed. We were so warmly welcomed and enjoyed having the separate entrance off the porch for potty time. In the morning, Wallace was kind enough to allow Larry to join me in the dining room since leaving him in the room was causing him to bark and whine. He was a tiny gentleman as I enjoyed a hearty and delicious 3-course breakfast (side note: dessert at breakfast is an elite move.) I was also able to fill my water bottle and grab a snack for our next hike. Nancy and Wallace are warm and generous hosts who radiate kindness, and have such servant hearts. We look forward to returning to St. Francis Cottage!

If you haven't stayed at this Bed and Breakfast, you should. I have stayed at many hotels in the past but this by far is the best! I hope to stay again in the near future at this delightful and wonderfully enchanted place. The decor is exquisite; the hospitality is fantastic. The food is better than most 5 star hotels. The owners, Wallace and his wife are delightful and most graceous.

St. Francis Cottage is a little hidden gem in Chattanooga. it is tucked away in a spot that is close to everything. The Inn is beautifully decorated, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the innkeepers have thought of everything. It is very warm and welcoming. The breakfast are incredibly delicious. If you are looking for a weekend getaway, a short business trip, or just to have a peaceful time. This is the place for you. Rates are extremely reasonable. We highly recommend St. Francis Cottage. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chattanooga. Why stay in a noisy, restless hotel when you can stay here.

Can't be beat for the price! Wallace and Nancy were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Our room was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast we were provided every morning was excellent. We were even given a free upgrade since it was a slower weekend for them to boot. Zero complaints could be thought of. I will tell everyone I know of about this place.
