CrossFit Krypton

I love this gym! I am a member, and really enjoy the coaches, the large space, the equipment, and the general atmosphere. It's super clean, and the owners are the Smith's! Ben, Alec, and Dane, are all CrossFit Games Athletes, and it's so fun to see them around and be able to work out with them. Adam Klink, current leader of the under 5 minute mile and 500 pound squat in one day, is my coach almost every class. (6am) It is amazing to train with such gifted, strong, talented athletes. Whether you are coming by as a drop-in, or need a gym home, you will love it here!!

Great experience dropping in at this CrossFit while I was visiting family in the area over Thanksgiving!! Everyone I interacted with was friendly and inviting. The gym itself is clean and much of the equipment appears either new or very well taken care of. A++ will drop in whenever I'm in the area.

One of my favorite CrossFit gyms I've visited yet! (and I have been to hundreds of gyms across the country) The coaching and programming were fantastic, plenty of space to workout, and a super welcoming community! Everyone I met was super friendly! Whether you are new to CrossFit (or fitness in general) or a seasoned veteran, if you live in the area 100% check out CF Krypton! You'll be challenged and coached by the best!

Traveled here for the Kryton Games and had a blast! I got to meet Ben and Alec Smith, who were extremely nice. The gym was well organized, and all of the equipment was nice. The staff and coaches were also extremely nice and helpful. They all answered every questions that any of the competitors had. Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone!

I’ve been a member at this CrossFit gym for a month, the facility itself is fantastic – well-equipped, clean, but I’ve had a very disappointing experience with one of the coaches specifically Lindsey. Her approach to coaching me my husband and son was demanding instead of encouraging, we felt single out . She is not professional at all by laughing at us with another coach. However, the issue goes beyond that. She doesn’t make you feel welcome or supported, especially when you ask for clarification or guidance on exercises. My family and I felt dismissed and uncomfortable when we sought help or instruction. What’s even more concerning is that I’ve learned multiple members have raised similar complaints over the years, but the owner has kept this coach employed. It’s disheartening to see that customer feedback hasn’t been taken seriously, as it’s clear that this coach’s approach is not in line with what many people want in a supportive fitness environment. I truly believe the gym could be a much better place if the owner listened to the concerns of members and made necessary changes. Until then, I can’t fully recommend it.

Dropped into this gym while I was working in the Chesapeake area for the week. This gym is AMAZING. The staff and athletes were very welcoming. The workouts were challenging/rewarding and the atmosphere is exactly what you want out of a gym. If I lived in this area I would 100% go here.

Unusual situation because I am not a member but my daughter is. Cannot say enough about what a genuinely safe, caring environment that they have produced for the CrossFit Kids class. I’ve coached kids before, and it’s definitely not easy. That being said, despite many different coaches (due to work schedules and babies for the staff), the consistency in quality amongst the coaches is hands down top notch. Thank you for providing such a respectful environment for my daughter.
