This is the nicest NGIS I’ve ever stayed at. It’s important to note that I am in the main building, which apparently is the nicest one. I’ve heard the additional buildings have rooms that are not quite as updated and do not have kitchens. If you can get a room in the main building, I would highly recommend. There is a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove, and stocked with what you need to cook and eat. There is a living room and a bedroom, each with a TV and closets for storage.

*3 part review* We stayed at the old lodge, where the dogs were allowed. We stayed here on two separate occasions. The first time, our room was really old and dingy. It didn't feel very clean, bugs constantly getting in, and the air smelt bad every time we turned in on, we had only a fridge, no freezer.. and our door was all rusted could barely open it half of the time. The second time we stayed, we were in a different room. The room was nicer and cleaner. The appliances were nicer too, a fridge and freezer this time. Things felt more updated, and no issues with the door, but a little flooding in the bathtub. The beds and pillows in both rooms were decently comfortable. *second part* The rooms are definitely not equivalent to each other. and i hated the fact that we had to pay more money each night to stay in a hotel that's not as nice or as big as the new lodge just because we had a tiny dog. It just didn't seem right to me.... the staff was friendly and accommodating, the only reason I gave 3 stars opposed to 2. *Third part* If Google could let me make 2 reviews, I would. This is a 5 star review for one person and one person alone... MISS QUEEN!! We loved her, and our dog Bosco lover her! She was so sweet, kind, and welcoming. She's always on top of her game and went out of her way to help us. Keep grinding, lady! You made our stay worthwhile! ❤️

Not to bad, this building could use a bit of updating. The room is a studio layout with a kitchenette in the back. If one is available pay the extra for the better room.

Great location off the beaten path. Rooms in the main lodge (deluxe rooms, not much more $, under per diem) are very nice and could accommodate a family if you want a relaxing trip. Great for business trips for Servicemembers, as well

The hotel was in the middle of nowhere but the staff was very helpful. Queen and Gerri are two staff members in particular who made my stay very pleasant. I will say that IF you have T-Mobile, you will probably have 1-2 bars for internet on your phone, EVEN when you log into "go-wifi" just be prepared for the minimal wifi within the hotel.

WiFi is so bad you mine as well not have it and Verizon signal isn’t much better (not ngis fault there), hot water took about 15 minutes and the faucet is mislabeled hot and cold, bathroom sink drain was broken, ceiling fan was broke and falling out of ceiling, TV was ancient and wouldn’t turn on at times, bugs bugs and more bugs in the room. Maid was great but definitely the worst lodging I’ve ever had on a base.

I checked in late very tired around 12 AM. I was greeted by roaches running around in the room. So I was forced to find other accommodations. Luckily I found a room in Virginia Beach. I would suggest inspecting your facilities. I rented a room in Little Creek that smelled like dog and had fleas.
