Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile

Location was great for being able to walk to anything you needed. Every staff member we cane in contact with was friendly and knowledgeable. However, we did have to have our mini fridge looked at and the thermostat was broken. There aren't any safety to the windows, other then it only opening so wide. My child was able to fit his head out, which Im sure he could've fit more if he was allowed to. Other then that, it was a great place to be.

The service quality is very poor and nearly all staff were unfriendly. The hotel only offers housekeeping every other day. We stayed for two days and no one cleaned our room, but an uninvited guest came in to give us an ash tray which we never asked for.

Booked this hotel for my birthday weekend and it was not what I expected at all. I mainly booked this hotel for the indoor pool and as you can see in the pictures it looks like a very nice indoor pool, that is not true. Its less than 4ft deep and it is super small. I also called housekeeping for more towels to my room no one ever brought towels. The lady at the front desk was very rude. They charge an overpriced deposit of $100 per night that they dont mention at all before being charged. And on top of all of that they took 45 minutes to check me in, terrible service. The only good thing is the location other than that this place is falsely advertised online and highly unprofessional. Dont waste your money here

We recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on East Grand Avenue and had a genuinely pleasant experience. From the moment we walked in, the hotel felt fresh and inviting. The fragrance throughout the building was soft, clean, earthy, and welcoming, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. Our room and bathroom were spotless, and the housekeeping team made sure we always had fresh towels and a tidy space. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping, was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The location is ideal and just steps from public transportation and surrounded by great attractions, making it easy to explore the city. One of the highlights was the easy access to the Weber Grill restaurant next door, perfect for a quick bite or a casual drink without having to venture far. Overall, this hotel offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. We’d happily stay here again on our next visit to Chicago.

At first it seemed like a nice hotel, good location but upon entering the room it was freezing cold. The heater did not work whatsoever and there was no blanket In the room at all. With it being winter I’d expect some better attention to the heating system. And never in my life have I stayed in a hotel room without a single blanket. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I be returning. Waste of money for a very cold night.

Excellent stay. My dad was in town and we hosted him at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Chicago on Grand Street. The rooms are huge, clean and bright. Excellent front desk service and great service at the Weber Grill. You can also get breakfast package at the Weber Grill. Great restaurant very convenient location. Little convenience store inside the lobby is very nice and helpful. Has great options.

Room was very nice. Hotel only had a restaurant connected to it, no other dining area and couldn't get food delivered to our room. We also had to pay over $120 for parking in the parking structured connected to hotel which we shouldn't have had to pay for. Pool at hotel was also very small and at one point had over 20 people in it.
