SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Chinatown

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were very comfortable with plenty of room and super comfortable pillows. lol. Slept soooo good. The location was wonderful. Was able to walk thru Chinatown and enjoy the shops and food. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious, very clean, and had a really nice view. Mathew at the front desk was especially commendable—friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good; while the choices were a bit limited, the quality was nice and satisfying. A nice bonus is that you can purchase detergent on-site, and the laundry service is complimentary. Overall, a very comfortable stay. But thinking about the planet hotel could upgrade cutlery and plates to silverware. (Maybe it’s my European eyes haha it’s a loooooot of plastic)

Hospitality done right. Not reinventing the wheel, not overcomplicating things. Rooms are cozy and clean, the customer service was phenomenal, breakfast is really good and have a lot of options. The price/ value for the hotel is probably the best in the area.

I stayed at the Marriott in Chinatown this weekend and had a great experience overall. The parking situation was a bit confusing after a certain time, as the garage can fill up, but I was able to find street parking just up the block, which worked out fine. When I checked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see my favorite beverages stocked in the lobby cooler—it was a small touch that made me happy. My room was comfortable and well-suited to my needs. The standout part of my stay was the customer service. The front desk staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. When I accidentally locked my keys in my trunk, the front desk manager kindly allowed me to wait in the lobby while the locksmith arrived. I was very appreciative of this, especially since it was cold that day. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Nice newer hotel right in Chinatown. It's not fancy, but well maintained and clean. Free parking on nearby residential streets. Paid parking in hotel garage. Neighborhood is busy but safe. Water pressure is good and temperature gets very hot. Breakfast is Springhill standard but includes biscuit sandwiches and small egg fritatas that are pretty good. Five-minute walk to El station to take you pretty much anywhere, but Downtown is a 10-minute ride away.

I recently stayed at the Marriott in Chinatown and was very disappointed with the overall room presentation. The sheets were noticeably wrinkled, and I was later told that the hotel does not iron them — something that is not disclosed when booking and certainly not what I expect from a Marriott property. I also encountered cleanliness concerns, including a desk that was not properly wiped down. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its convenient location, which provides easy access to Chinatown day or night; otherwise, the experience fell well below standard. I got 2 shampoo's & one conditioner. However a young lady named Jasmine was amazing! Best, Dr. Cunningham

My stay at this three-star hotel in Chicago’s Chinatown was decent overall. The location was convenient and close to great restaurants, which made exploring the area easy. The room was clean but a bit outdated, and the service was acceptable. It’s a reasonable option for a short stay.
