The Wade

Such a great stay! The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were exquisite and super spacious, and my view was absolutely breathtaking. Guest service was amazing. they brought anything I needed right away with just a call. I also loved that they had a gym, a pool, and a beautiful outdoor terrace. Overall, a really decent hotel with stunning views. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and conveniently close to a lot of sites. The room I was in faced the navy pier and Lake Michigan. What I didn’t like was the fact that they didn’t offer free wifi and the room I was in, although it was big and spacious, was somewhat dated. The lobby and the bar area looked nice. I would still stay here when I visit Chicago again though

We had a 2 night stay (2 adults and 2 kids). The pools wasn't stocked with towels. Went to take a shower and there was no hot water in the room. Didn't have any complimentary coffee in the lobby. The refrigerator in the room wasn't working and the hair dryer had a broken plug so you couldn't even use it. We use to love staying there every time we visit Chicago but with this visit I am not sure if this will be a place we stay again.

This place has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. On the bright side, some nice staff members, clean rooms in general! Good view and exceptional location. The hallway lighting was very dim. The shower had extremely low water pressure, and there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The included breakfast had a much simpler menu. The menu paper was greasy. Food was uninspiring. Additionally, there were several valets lingering in the corridor who did not appear to follow basic standards of professional attire, which further detracted from the overall atmosphere.

Nice hotel right by the lake shore. The view of Navy Pier from the lift landing is fabulous!! Room are clean and have a large picture window for viewing either the city or the lake. I requested for a electric water boiler and it was provided very promptly. Furnishing is a little dated. Front desk staff took in my comments including reports on non-functional electrical outlet very graciously. I think The Wade just need to replace countertop finishing. Love the retro design. Location is in walking distance to all major downtown attraction and the red line train.

Excellent location, very close to major attractions. Beautiful views, especially from the lake-side rooms. The staff is very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, with good availability. The room rates are on the higher side, but you can often find better deals on their website or through third-party booking sites. The service fee is reasonable, and there are no extra charges like resort fees. Parking and food are expensive, and the hotel only offers valet parking with no nearby alternative options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
