Viceroy Chicago

Located right across from rush street. We did our staycation here. The rooms are gorgeous,the whole hotel has a modern vibe and they do little subtle things like having a bowl of starburst at the check in desk. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond. Room service for breakfast was amazing gourmet style breakfast the portions were great and the price was not bad. My new favorite Hotel in Chicago

Positive: Location, charm, amentities, view, hospitality. Negative: Living area of our room was still small even after significant upgrade.

This place was saved in my to go places. I end up coming for a night for my birthday. It’s conveniently located near EVERYTHING literally. The room was nice, didn’t have the tub I expected but it was a soaking tub (wasn’t clean enough for me). The pillows had a distinctive smell to them. What really made me feel uncomfortable was the connecting room along with the beautiful huge mirror that was right beside the door that connects to the other room. It didn’t set in for me til later that night. I end up checking out six hours earlier than my check out time. Also I had a $50 restaurant/lounge credit upon check in that I forgot to use 😩. Will I go back? Yes, but will make sure that the room meets my expectations next time, especially when going solo. Pricey but the location and view was worth it. Lots of alcoholic beverages in the room (that was not needed) but no robes or slippers 🤷🏽‍♀️ that needed to be requested. You would think it was included with the price of the room. 7/10

What a great experience. The staff was over the top professional and friendly, the location was perfect, the rooftop bar had exceptional views and the morning brunch superb. A special shout out to Harrison, Margaret, Alison, and Dani. There were many others but I didn’t catch names.

Stayed here this week for 4 nights. Amazing experience. The rooms and hotel are beautifully decorated, the staff is incredibly friendly (shoutout to Camron who checked us in although everyone else was equally as friendly). The amenities are awesome, especially how dog friendly they are. Location is great. Overall well deserved 5 stars. The only thing that I will say we didnt love is the restaurant. Although the vibe is beautiful, the food wasnt very tasty and it also took a long time to be prepared.

I stayed here for the birthday this past week. Before that I called a hundred times to check on my accommodations. No one ever knows what you are talking about. The only luxury were the heated floors in the bathroom. The view was not good, the room was small, no dresser, no hangers, stains on the floors. For what we paid, there was not any complimentary anything! The staff was ok, I felt like they were being fake the whole time to the point I did not want to speak to them! The vibe was off every time we came down to the lobby, very unprofessional. The valet staff were very professional and friendly. Overall this hotel is overpriced and could accommodate a lot more.

Enjoyed this hotel so much for our annual mom & daughter staycation! Dining at Somerset for brunch was lovely and the location was prime for shopping! Our room had a beautiful view of the city and the frozen lake. We hope to be back again
