Stone Gables Inn

I stayed here for a few nights while in town for work, and it is a very cool place to stay. The parking lot has a lot of room and makes it very easy, and the building is easy to access. It has everything you would need to stay for one or multiple days (i used the kitchen and it has everything you need to cook something easy or full blown meal) and the interior decor and layout is very nice. The only major con i can see is that if you have an issue with stairs, this may be a difficult place for you to stay because there are a good amount of them. It isn't a drawback, just the nature of the building itself. Otherwise, cool building and a nice place to stay.

My husband and I spent 1 night at the Stone Gables. It was a great location, easily walkable to restaurants and The Bop Stop where we enjoyed a jazz performance. We loved the easy access and privacy. Our room was located on the second floor with an adjacent common room, which was a nice place to sit and read. The common kitchen/dining area on the first floor was well appointed and huge! My biggest complaint would be the bathroom in our room. The tub and sink were not in great shape and the paint job was sketchy, with missed areas where fixtures had been removed. It just gave a less than 5-star aesthetic. Also, the bed was beautiful, but the mattress was not super comfortable to me. But that is all relative as different desires apply. Overall, a pleasant stay! The host was prompt with information and friendly.

We had a great time in Cleveland. We stayed in the Franklin room and it was lovely. The whole house and the room was very clean. Any questions we had were answered promptly and the room and house instructions were well written. We loved the game room too! We will definitely stay again.

We stayed just one night in the Tipton Room and had a great experience. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Water pressure in the shower was great! We didn't explore much of the house during our short stay but it looked beautiful. The included parking and proximity to several Ohio City attractions made this a great choice for our trip. Check in instructions very were and the process was seamless. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we're in Cleveland. Thank you!

Stone Gables in Ohio City is in an interesting neighborhood with in 15 minutes of everything we wanted to see in Cleveland and has many interesting restaurants in walking distance in nice weather. While we were there at the end of January with snow and didn't do much walking, we appreciated the extra electric heaters for our room and bathroom. The parking is very convenient. We missed not having a host and breakfast in the morning, but everything was efficiently provided as advertised. We would consider staying here again.

Stone Gables Inn was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. It was so charming and cozy and exceeded our expectations! The game room was awesome for a snowy weekend. The location was walkable to shops, restaurants, cafes, and the West Side Market. Check in process was easy. We would definitely like to stay again and I will be recommending this place to everyone I know! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

This was my first visit to Cleveland, and I was only there for an overnight so I wanted to stay downtown - but all of those hotels had only $40-50 valet parking! Stone Gables caught my eye, and I loved its aesthetic. What an amazing find. Easy to get to. Convenient and secure parking. The home is so well maintained and comfortably decorated. I stayed up on the top floor in the Tipton suite. I loved having the extra space of the sitting room, even as a single traveler. And yet, I actually managed to have the whole home to myself for the night! There are loads of trendy local restaurants nearby. (I went to Townhall for dinner and Beet Jar for breakfast - plenty of parking at both.) I could really see staying here for a week or so and making it home base during an extended visit. I highly recommend it!
