Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort

The lodge itself hosts live music and isn't as hectic as a bar. The servers were very sweet. The rooms are much better than you'd think they are clean and quaint tho no 5star hotel it's still a very nice place to spend time by the fire.

Beautiful charming place to stay.. there is a $250 deposit..All I did was ask and they refunded it immediately ! They have an awesome happy hour and a singer guitarist! Hot water,Great Pressure! Breakfast! I absolutely recommend this stay!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. The room was cozy and well decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful with local hiking recommendations. The fireplace inside the main lodge was a nice spot to knock out a few hours of work while also saddling up to the bar for a few craft beers and conversations with locals/guests.

Wonderful place. We were in town for a wedding and, although we did not stay at the Buffalo Lodge, we spent a great night in their bar being entertained by live music provided by Mike. Marissa made us feel so at home with great conversations along with insights and advice about the area. Rare to find such a great atmosphere when traveling.

From the minute we arrived, we felt very welcomed. Checking in was easy. The rooms and the vibes here are fun. Shout out to Noelle and Logan for providing great info on local restaurant and activities. The location is perfect. Everywhere we wanted to go was just a short trip away. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

So glad I decided to stay here. First rate experience across the board. From the moment of check-in to check-out, I could not have asked for anything better. I stayed in one of the tents as I wanted to try the "glamping" experience. It did not disappoint. The space was roomy and the bed and mattress were very comfortable, as was the couch. The extra blanket provided came in handy, as did the small radiator heater. The private garden area with the fire pit was a nice treat. The bathrooms were close by and the heated pool was awesome to dip into at night. The lodge/check-in area was very nice. It had a warm ambiance to it. The breakfasts were filling. The bar was great and the variety of beer and drinks were plentiful to choose from. Live music was performed each night in the lodge or outside on the patio, which added a nice flair to each evening. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and offered great recommendations on hiking trails and restaurants to go to. I believe the owner is a cyclist and it was good to see one of the cyclist groups meet up at the hotel to start their ride. I plan to stay here next time I come to the area as this was top notch all the way.

If you’re looking for an experience and fun way to explore Garden of the Gods- def book! Family of 6 with 4 kids ranging 8-14. All of them agreed this was the best hotel! We had a room that gave everyone a real bed (that is SO hard to find!) (note the top bunk weight limit was 130 so keep that in mind if you have 4 teenagers) My kids loved biking around. The bfast selection wasn’t huge but my non picky eaters found something easily. Easy access to everywhere you would want to go. This retro motel was great and we loved our experience!
