We have stayed here multiple times over the years when purchasing and remodeling our home here in Colorado Springs. Unfortunately our last stay will likely be our last. The service and staff attitude was pretty bad throughout our most recent visit. I would describe the vibe as "apathetic". No sense of urgency or care in taking care of guests. We went down one evening for drinks, it felt like we were infringing on the employees hang out time. The following morning, breakfast service was terribly slow, we watched them prioritize employee drinks over paying guests. On two occasions we watched people come into the hotel for food/coffee but the barista/server was nowhere to be found for several minutes to take their order, so they left. The rooms are cute, but for 2 people we were provided 2 towels, 1 coffee mug and pillows that seriously need an upgrade. To top it off, they now charge $20 per day to park in an uncovered and unsecured parking lot. If you need to extend parking, it only allows for extension of a full day, even if you only need a partial day. Its really disappointing to see this hotel taking a backward slide. I'm sad to see this cool hotel make a turn for the wose, I hope they do better.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! Kimberly was AMAZING! Coolest person I have met in Colorado so far. It honestly feels like one of the best spots I’ve stayed at, thanks to the fantastic recommendations and the exceptional service at the bar and front desk. I would happily recommend this place to everyone! It's such a charming and cozy hotel. I was staying alone in a junior queen room with mountain views, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. I've met some of the coolest people here, and if I come back, I’ll definitely stay here again. no question about it!
I had an excellent stay! The building has a spacious, plant-filled modern vibe that feels both cozy and elevated. Check-in was smooth, and I liked the cardless room access using your phone number. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.||The room was simple and efficient, but the bed was super comfortable, and there was a nice variety of pillows. Tap water in-room wasn’t great, but there’s a filtered still and sparkling water tap in the restaurant/lobby that solves that. ||Only other heads-up: parking entrance can be a little hard to spot your first time.||Overall, a beautiful space with a ground floor restaurant that feels like a local, community gathering space. Perfect for remote work, relaxing, or a stylish home base while exploring Colorado Springs. Would definitely stay again.
Rooms are on the small side but probably keeps with the vibe theyre hoping to attract. Not recommended for professionals as the amenities are pretty minimal. No full size ironing boards/irons in the rooms although irons are available with mini boards. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are quiet. There is a common kitchen for guest use but no microwave in rooms. Parking lot is not managed by hotel so no opportunity for fee to be waived. It is walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants.
Kimberly, at the front desk was delightful. When we checked into our room, everything was very nice, but we were hoping for a mountainside view. Not expecting them to be able to accommodate this, I asked, anyway, and Kimberly gladly moved us to an available room for no extra charge. Excellent customer service and super friendly as well! Our breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious and prepared beautifully! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and look forward to coming back!
We had our Holiday party here last night and it was a wonderful experience from the staff helping to make sure we had everything that we needed to the atmosphere to the food. The food was delicious, meat was tender and flavorful, vegetables were seasoned just right. We had a small band play and there was plenty of room for them to play. Everyone loved the fire pit area that was included in our package. We got s'mores kits at an additional cost for everyone to use at the firepits, that was a huge hit! I will definitely book our next gathering here; they are very accommodating and friendly.
I had my small wedding in the Garden Haus at the Kinship Landing Hotel and it was perfect. Lauren was wonderful to work with - very accommodating, friendly and responsive. The staff was great too - especially Christian. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were so unique. Thank you - we will definitely be back!
