Had cruise parking 9-13-2025 pd in full 4-7 2025 arriving for parking they said they cancelled my parking . we are mid 80s a travelers worst night mare with little time to find a parking spot and make it to the ship on time. What kind of business would do that? no phone call nothing. Talk about frantic could write a book on our dream vacation we made it to the ship and were the last to board and took several days to settle down
Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything was horrid! Will not be staying again
This is a nice budget hotel. The rooms, 102, were large enough and clean. The bathroom was tiny but as i told my partner, I didn't plan to stay in there. The bathroom was really clean. The bed/mattress was stiff as a borad but the linens and room were very clean. The neighborhood 1 block away wasn't great but it is a budget hotel. The local food options were extremely limited and not desirable. If I were going to an event at the Cow Palace, this would be an awesome location.
There was practically no one at the front desk. I rang the doorbell and knocked, and waited for almost an hour before an Indian person finally opened the door. Then they didn't help at all, just pointed to a machine and told me to figure it out myself. I was speechless. This was the first time I've encountered a place that charges for parking, and the parking spaces were incredibly small. I would say there's no front desk service here at all, even though the website says there is. I think they're deceiving people. I waited for almost an hour, and even after they opened the door, they didn't help. I've never had such a terrible check-in experience. I think their online reviews are fake; they have a 3.8 rating, but I think there are many people like me who are complaining. The experience was extremely poor, and I strongly advise against staying here. Otherwise, you'll be paying for a miserable experience.
I’m being honest and fair here, the location is AMAZING if you’re attending a show at Cow Palace. Like an 8 minute walk to the venue. And there is a local restaurant near by that serves great food and a small mini mart in walking distance. The outside of the rooms are cute. But once you get inside, prepare to be utterly disappointed. Old, dated, a little dirty, and dingy. Not joking - our toilet had someone else’s pee still in the toilet when we checked in. The bed is paper thin and you can feel the springs. The AC leaked on the floor. The shower has a crack in the floor so they tried to put a bath mat over it to cover it up but if you step on the mat you feel like you’re going to fall through. The shower head sprays up onto the ceiling, causing cold water droplets to form and they land on you as you shower. Pics here for reference. Listen, I WOULD stay here again if I had a concert at cow palace. I would NOT stay here for any other reason than that. Especially based on the price! Giving 3 stars because again, location is amazing and I’m sure that’s why it’s so expensive as well.
Stayed open late just accommodate me. Places are so comfortable, super clean, and old sf town style. Very surprised with accomodations and with the service. 5 star for sure. Place is super cool.
This inn must know that it's accommodations are less than desirable because they will not refund you your money if you decide to leave early. My husband and I had booked 2 nights for our anniversary and after the first night when my husband couldn't sleep at all, we decided we just needed to find something better suited to our needs. We checked out after the first night and asked to have the 2nd refunded to us since the accommodations were so poor, but we were unable to get our money back. I feel that they misrepresent their rooms and won't let you get your money back once you see how bad their rooms are. The quarters were cramped, the toilet area was so tiny it was difficult to fit in the seat, the shower felt just as tiny and cramped. The bathroom is definitely not geared for anyone of larger proportions or those that might have disabilities. The bed was too firm. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds and the pictures online showed that they would be side by side in the same room but in reality they were in separate rooms. This might be fine for others but was not what we were anticipating based on the online photos. The room smelled musty and old. The parking was even cramped and didn't allow for the passenger to get out once parked. The customer service was not very friendly or accommodating and barely wanted to interact with us. We had booked with Expedia and they tried to get our second night refunded to us but the hotel's policy is that they will not refund a room once you have checked in. The room was clean and tidy and the pillows were soft but everything else was less than desirable. I had read online that they have a continental breakfast but saw no evidence of this. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay.
