Holiday Inn & Suites Davenport by IHG

Rooms are nice but the heat/ AC doesn't go to the living space area so kind of a bad design. The pool was ok. The hot tub was cold. My son got a rash from the pool. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good and the waitress was super sweet and gave the kids little treats. She almost made great hot chocolate according to my son and made it the perfect temperature for a child.

My wife and I live 2hours away. But when we go to Davenport we stay here. Hasn't disappointed, we always have supper and drinks at the J Bar. Excellent menu for both food and drinks.|This trip was no exception!!|However, prior to check in a discrepancy was noticed. |I need to identify a true star of an employee that went above and beyond with her customer service and professionalism. |Felicia G.|Felicia G. not only solved rhe issue, she kept us informed. |Truly great customer service in my book!|Again, thank you Felicia G.

Hotel has been updated. It was very clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was nice. We had a few drinks at the bar and the bartenders were great. While we did not order food, everything that came out looked amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I am missing here is access to Netflix. Bar and restaurant are open daily. Restaurant until 9pm and bar until 10pm. The service is great. One to two bartenders nightly. Breakfast in the morning is buffet style. Eggs, sausage, bacon along with fruit and oatmeal. Clean, well kept hotel. The pool was out of service however, we were able to use pool at hotel across from us if needed. I would consider another stay if back in the area.

Nice hotel and a great location. The bar/restaurant is also nice. Only con is the rooms are a bit dated.

We checked into our room and had to leave because there were for nail clippings all over the floor. So gross which let us know it was NOT vacuumed. The front desk was very apologitic and have us a new room immediately.

I’m not sure why someone thought this hotel was showing its age. I didn’t notice that. My room was spacious and modern with a walk in shower. The room was well lit, mattress was comfortable. There was a buffet breakfast with a friendly attendant. I loved the hotel. It’s next door, walking distance, to a shopping area if that appeals to you.
