ROOST Detroit

Settled in beautiful downtown Detroit in such a wonderful building full of history. The decor and ambience is amazing. You feel as if you are partially stepping back in time here alittle. Rooms are gorgeous and worth it especially if you need to be downtown for a game or concert. Such a beautiful place and happy that it belongs to Detroit.

Clean, well stocked and decent service

We had such a wonderful stay at the Roost Detroit! From the moment we walked in, the building’s ambience was warm, stylish, and inviting—it really sets the tone for a comfortable stay. Everything was impeccably clean, from our room to the shared spaces, which made us feel instantly at ease. A special thank you to Dominic at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and efficient. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was smooth and enjoyable, and his welcoming attitude truly stood out. Overall, the Roost Detroit exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in the city!

We stayed here for our 10th anniversary and it couldn’t have been better. The staff was friendly and made great conversation with incredible service. The rooms don’t feel like a hotel, they are very spacious and airy (very high ceilings). The dining was amazing and there was an option for different moods. We’ve been looking for a spot downtown and think we’ve found it!

We showed up to Detroit early in the day then had no where to go to kill four hours. Thankfully the front desk at Roost was able to accommodate us with an early check-in so we booked a room here on a whim. That ended up being an amazing decision! The one bedroom suite we stayed in was priced well and was more like staying in a beautiful apartment than a hotel room. Also, this historic building was stunningly redone, with four restaurants on site. We got a chance to visit the bar area and French restaurant and had great experiences at both places. All in all, the Roost hands down is one of the top places to stay while visiting Detroit. We couldn't recommend this property highly enough!

Excellent property. I was immediately impressed with the lobby. The bar was great at night & my espresso was fabulous in the morning. Mia was kind and professional. I loved the availability of restaurants and the room was spacious and clean. I travel a lot for business & pleasure and would highly recommend this property.

Ayesha Ali did an absolutely Outstanding job helping me with rooms at Roost Detroit for my Son’s Wedding! Ayesha is so Professional, Super Responsive, and Customer Focused. She makes things happen fast. Roost is very fortunate to have Ayesha!
