Holiday Inn Erie by IHG

Stayed 2 nights. Was planning on extending but checked out. No m/wave. Carpet needs to be replaced/cleaned better. House keeping missed cleaning the room. - Bed, trash, towels, coffee. Needed supplies and had to get to the front desk to pick it up myself. There were staff available and it was not busy. I understand it's a busy / industrial/ commercial location. But with Hilton & Marriott as neighbors, I'd have expected better quality, competitively.

I had the pleasure to stay here Christmas Weekend. Heather, front desk supervisor checked me and my family in. She made us feel welcome and she was very professional and accommodating to our needs for the 2 rooms that I made reservations for. Staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious. We have stayed at this location a few times, actually Christmas 2024 and Christmas Eve 2025. On our way south . The hotel is easy in and out from the interstate . It presents very well, seems the owner cares for their properties. This year we took the entry level room , not a King bed room like last year. We actually liked the entry level room a lot more , it felt bigger and brighter. The 5 foot shower was awesome and it was really good and clean . The $10 breakfast charge was well worth it for two, as others have said it's an actual sit down breakfast with table service . The food itself was very good , we all know what hotel breakfast scrambled eggs can be like . It was honest to god scrambled eggs not some milky custard thing. Too it's good to see here as well as in other locations the Covidity price gouging has ended. $110 all in , good value for a great room. Shout out to the desk person Kennedy, for matching the book it online price and just being nice to deal with. ( We couldn't book it online as the IHG member page was down )

This hotel was one of the cleanest we've stayed at. Front desk was welcoming. Restaurant other than not having hamburgers was good. Breakfast was actually served restaurant style where you placed your order, not a continental breakfast. Highly recommend

The location was conveniently close to the highway. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was contemporary style with more outlets and USB ports than we needed, so there plenty of chances to charge our devices. The breakfast was delicious and good choices available. We didn't get a chance to use the gym or pool, but they looked clean and well kept.

Positive: I stay here often. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are usually perfect ! Negative: My room wasn’t clean like it usually is. There was a weird smell as well as kids running up and down the hallways. This was a rare occurrence. I will stay here again.

It’s a nice hotel very conveniently located about 8 mins from the mall, down the street from splash lagoon. Tucked in, away from heavy traffic. The breakfast itself was pretty decent. You have to pay for it or pay for it when you book. The only thing I was disappointed is the actual person working it seemed miserable. All the other staff was great. Especially the woman who checked us in . Maybe the breakfast girl was having a bad day. The room was clean , and it was even ready for us early which was so appreciated. Their pet fee is very reasonable compared to many hotels in the area. We didn’t use the pool but did check it out it’s decent size, pretty warm. There was a decent fitness center as well. Overall, our family enjoyed it for the night. Thank you!
