Fairfield Inn Evansville West

Everything about this stay has been great. They have yummy breakfast, kind people, and a comfortable environment. The main area I see room for improvement in is the fact that I was there for four days and they didn’t clean up the room at all. I thought they were normally supposed to do that. There was a bunch of dust on the sink countertop the room needed to be vacuumed and swept, and I ended up paying through a third party even though I thought it was the front desk, the charged me 100’s more than they should have. So if they could have the front desk phone number more accessible and clear, I think that would help. Pool and gym are both kept clean and very easy to use. Staff is beyond friendly and very helpful. Such a pleasant stay here!! There are plenty of fun restaurants within a few miles, some thrift stores, and grocery stores, cvs, and gas stations. What more could you need?

Dave working at the front desk was funny and made check in enjoyable, but the room we checked into had a full on spider infestation. There is no way someone cleaned this room recently because there were webs and spiders of varying sizes lining the entire room and the curtains were full of spiders. I was bitten while opening the curtains and this is how I found it. Please see photos. We immediately went back to Dave and he offered us a new room on a different floor, which we only accepted because we had dinner reservations. We didn’t see any more spiders, and the room was clean, but this room was in need of repairs. It looked like someone taken a box cutter to the wallpaper in several spots and the bathroom counter top had a large crack. Bed was not very soft, but was clean. Breakfast was decent and staff were all friendly. We booked for the pool but it was unfortunately closed while we were here. My husband said the gym was clean but also in need of some repairs with the decor. I also noticed the landscaping has gotten away from them, which is usually a red flag. Frankly this hotel was not worth the price due to current conditions and I wish we had booked elsewhere, because it was very hard to relax after the spider situation.

Theresa is outstanding. She is friendly. She keeps everything well stocked and clean! Not easy! She checks back to be sure everything is fine and to remove waste on your table. Theresa is truly outstanding. We are here FIVE days. She is great every day. She makes the breakfast a very enjoyable experience!

Nice hotel, good location. Friendly staff especially the breakfast crew. They had great variety stocked for breakfast and made sure you had everything you needed. Nice amenities with workout room and pool.

Had a GREAT stay. The shining star though was Teresa who handles the breakfast! I was well nourished for a full day at work and she was so pleasant, I was almost late. 😆Thank you so much!

Theresa and Claudia in breakfast room are absolutely a great asset to your hotel. Very friendly and the breakfast is wonderful. Your hotel is very nice clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again. Robin Duncan Indianapolis.

My room was nice, but really I'm writing a review to specifically shout out Theresa, who made our free breakfast feel like we were at a restaurant. She was so on top of keeping things stocked during the rush and was taking plates for people and checking on them. I've never experienced that before!
