Hilton Garden Inn Evansville

My daughter and I were traveling through Evansville on 2-12-2026 on our way to Atlanta when we were involved in a serious traffic accident. The Evansville police dept contacted the Hilton Garden Inn and they said we could wait in their lobby till my son in law could get there and pick us up and continue our trip. Jodi Staley the general manager and the whole staff were very welcoming and understanding of our situation. They offered and provided us with complementary drinks and breakfast while we waited. After my experience with the staff and the way they treated us, I will never stay anyplace else than a Hilton property!

Nice neat and tidy hotel, we enjoyed the hot tub. Was a very quiet day and we enjoyed being alone in it. As the last review said I also wish the window wouldn’t have been broken by a seal. We had a lake view room with a full moon but was difficult to see. Enjoyed being able to get a few drinks at the bar from a great bartender.

Don't really have any complaints. Bedding is comfortable with a spacious room. Had some issues with my original room at check-in and I got swapped to another without issue or question. My only qualm with this hotel isn't even anything within their control- there's a Texas Roadhouse across the street from the hotel and the parking lot attracts all kinds of idiots. Be prepared for some defensive driving immediately outside the hotel. Great stay otherwise.

Service is good - the dinner selection is ok but well cooked - breakfast in the morning depending on time you can have eggs a little colder but if you want, there is a menu to order from which is good - the rooms are very clean and the water is hot in the morning - very good value for the buck

Nice large rooms. Clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Limited menu at the restaurant but what they offer they do well. Cocktails are a bit expensive here. Coke products served here too.

Absolutely fantastic staff. I stayed there 84 nights last year. Christie at the bar is simply amazing.

This hotel as simply effortless. From check in to check out. Always quiet, restarant has decent selection at a fair price. As a business traveler, works great for me.
