After reading the other reviews it seems this renovation is not being completed in a very timely manner. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt but if it is still as bad as it was this week and you have been renovating since early 2025 you should just shut it down and complete it or close the doors. Rooms smelled mold. Mold visible in the shower, carpet stained and wrinkling, no fan in the bathroom which made the room smell even worse after showering. If the owner needs to fire or find a GC to fix it ip now or close it down.
The beds are not the most comfortable. The rooms are cold and drafty. The heater did not turn off due to the drafty conditions of the room. The breakfast was adequate except for the cold sausage links and skim milk for the cereal. Blankets are garbage.
Wow, what a great staff, Katherine was kind enough to personally help me when I couldn't get my room key to work, totally my fault. They have a bar/lounge and blackjack plus slots to unwind in. The indoor pool was a welcome relief when it was snowing outside. The breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, bagels and English muffins saved me money from going out to eat. They are renovating I can't wait to see what the new owners are going to do with it. Thanks for the awesome experience.
What was originally supposed to be a one night stay turned into 5 nights. That’s how much we loved this hotel. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the every staff member we encountered was polite, friendly and helpful. They offer a great free breakfast in the morning with everything you could possibly want all in the cutest old western looking bar across from the front desk. There’s a pool and I believe hot tub although we didn’t go in to check it out it looked great. There’s even a bar/casino in the hotel that has bingo and meat raffles. But honestly what I loved the most was the little courtyards. We were lucky to have a room downstairs so we had a door that opened up right to one of them. The location I thought was great with plenty of nearby restaurants and stores for shopping and it’s only a block from the interstate. Close enough to not have to travel too far off and far enough away that you don’t get all the noise from traffic. The neighborhood felt completely safe to me. So much so that one of us accidentally dropped our debit card while getting out of the vehicle one night and it was still sitting in the exact same spot the next morning thankfully 😅. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through or even if you needed to stay longer.
We stayed here 2 nights. We were scheduled for 3 nights but the room stunk so bad. The toilet overflowed all over the floor. Instead of getting us a new room, they gave us towels to put on the carpet. The toilet ran nonstop the whole time. The room was in really bad shape. When packing up to leave, I looked under the bed and found a pipe for smoking marijuana with some unsmoked marijuana still in it. A motel 6 would have been much better than this! Lesson learned. Never again!!
It is a dated hotel. But they are remodeling it. The outside needs some maintenance and updating also. They should give better directions to the rooms. Its kind of confusing. The room we stayed in was ok. Quite. The USB outlets didn't work on all the lamps. Didn't make it for breakfast. So can't comment on that. Overall it was a place to sleep.
This place is in the middle of a renovation, so there is a lot of work being done. The property is a little dated but it's cozy. The room was clean and had good amenities. It did take a few minutes for the water to heat up for a shower , but once it did it worked. The pool area was clean with the pool looking like it had just been renovated. The hot tub had hot water but the jets didn't appear to work. The Alibi bar was cozy and cute. A fun place to hang out. Breakfast was filling. With choices from waffles, biscuits and gravy, to cereal and toast. They also had hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and some muffins. Assorted juices, milk and coffee were offered. For the price you're paying this is a decent stay and I'd stay again.
