Motel 6 Fargo, ND - West Acres - North Fargo

It is like walking into a horror movie set except dirtier. The initial photos posted are a lie. Maybe other motel 6 look like that but not the one located by West Acres. The motel was gross. The doors going in and out of building were broken in some spots. There were signs posted stating not responsible for theft, but that is probably because it looks like you would get robbed there. There is definitely no pool and the room where the pool was looks like it’s used for storage. I saw that through a window looking into the pool room. In my room the window in the room wouldn’t seal properly, the microwave was disgusting and broken, issues with door, no light in the bathroom, the sheets were gross, floor dirty, there were bed bugs and other bugs. I took a picture of the bed bug and showed it to front desk. They said they would report it but seemed very nonchalant about it. I checked out a few hours after checking in for evening. It is a cheap hotel for a reason.

Run! This is one of the most disgusting places we have ever been too. The hallway smelled like mold and cat pee. The room key worked once, then not at all. Went to the front desk and was told that our room was sometimes a little picky, but to just slide the key card in and out a couple times. As we returned to our room, another guest was fighting with their door as well. After sliding the key card in and out around 40 times, the door finally opened. That remained the process for entering our room. The floor in the room was missing large chunks of the fake wood, and smelled musty. The shower was equally gross and falling apart. No shampoo at all and the bath mat was a hand towel. The only TV available was the free channels that came with every LG television. I would recommend sleeping in your car. It was better than camping, but only barely.

The customer service is not good at all. First, we find a dirty socks in our bed, trash weren’t taken out, no towels. I decided to check out early and the lady kept serving others before even thought, I was there before everyone else. She claimed that their computer or her login was not working but she was serving everyone.

It was just okay. Sleep and wake up.

I lasted a whole hour in this hotel before packing my things up at midnight to sleep in my car. The staff was horrible, My shoes would stick to some spots on the floor, bed sheets were stained (didn’t notice until I ripped the covers off after seeing bedbugs crawling by my head). The whole hotel smells like mildew and cigarettes, sketchy people hanging around outside all night, half the lights in the room didn’t work, the AC in the room didn’t work either. If I could give this place a zero star review I wouldn’t even hesitate. I hope to god this place gets shut down so no one else ever has to stay here. PS, on top of everything I listed above the staff refused to refund my stay and were completely oblivious to everything happening in this poor excuse for a motel. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Worst hotel stay of my life, I lasted less than 20 minutes. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves one — and not in a good way. From the moment we walked in, the smell in the room was unbearable — stale air, cigarettes, and who knows what else. The room was at least passively clean but, despite supposed "non-smoking" policies and signs posted everywhere including every room door, people were clearly smoking indoors. We walked in and someone was vaping on the stairs inside and multiple people were smoking at the entrance doors. The lights in the hallways were flickering and it felt straight out of a horror movie. Outside was just as bad. We were harassed multiple times by loiterers right outside the entrance — loud, aggressive, and clearly not guests. Management seemed completely indifferent. No security, no staff presence, nothing to make guests feel safe. When I mentioned this, the front desk attendant said he’d come with me to find another room and would upgrade me but there was no way to redeem the situation. They were unwilling to give a refund despite several complaints of cleanliness and safety concerns. We left feeling more stressed than when we arrived. If you're considering this hotel: don’t. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere that doesn’t make you fear for your safety — or your lungs

After my experience with a really bad reservation place, I saw this hotel and it looked nice and clean. The owner was so helpful, the rooms were very clean, neat and simple! Omgosh what a blessing. I felt safe and was treated so kindly. After booking at a hotel that was not this I was so thankful to see and be treated nice. Shower was Awesome! Bed was great and people so kind and polite. Thank u so much for being you! Needless to say I will be back!
