Regatta Inn

Had the absolute best time staying at the Regatta. Paige was amazing during check in, she made sure we were comfortable and made us feel at home... got us anything we needed while she was there! She was an absolute doll!! Same during check out, Anne and Lisa were too sweet, almost had us convinced to stay another night. The place itself was so cozy, I felt so at home. Our view was amazing and the room was so comfortable. Would recommend to any of my friends and family, and I can not wait to stay again!

This is an absolute gem. Stayed in the regatta inn for a Solo weekend and I’m so glad I found it. This secluded place offered me everything I needed on my pass through Charleston. Great sunsets, super comfy rooms, quiet and apart from the craziness of the beach but still close enough to the fun, amazing breakfast and the wonderful company of Kim as your host. I couldn’t be happier for my stay there. I went on a little birthday retreat and decided to stay at The Regatta Inn. Prior to arrival, I was texted instructions on what to do upon arrival. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the peaceful vibe, lovely reggae tunes playing quietly, and a happy hour spread of goodies. I love how they left my bedroom door open for me - it felt inviting and safe! The room was clean and offered all the essentials and more - like the cozy fireplace & robes. The breakfast service and staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious - a nice spread of both healthy and indulgent options. I enjoyed a winter bike ride to the tip of the island and loved exploring Folly from their private location. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Everything exceed our expectations! The location is spectacular on the intercoastal waterway. We had a 180 degree view from our porch in the Poseidon Suite. We rode the complimentary bikes into town for lunch. Our most favorite thing was the people we met. The receptionist Kim Shuey was the epitome of southern hospitality. She was a delight. And we met some fantastic people at the complimentary happy hour and breakfast. Can't wait to return!!

Celebrated our 9yr anniversary here and we will for sure be coming back! Place was beautiful! Staff was truly amazing. Such genuine, kind hearted and welcoming people. Our room was super cute and cozy! Perfect for 2 people. The happy hour they had was so fun and delicious - the snacks they prepared for happy hour were so good, we didn’t have room to eat dinner haha! The wine/beer they had was also a great selection. In addition to all of this, the staff even left a bottle of champagne with a hand written note congratulating us on 9yrs 🙂 such a sweet thing to walk into. The Inn is stunning views and not far from the beach - free bikes to rent if you want a short bike to beach or 7-10 min bike ride to downtown Folly. Thank you to the staff for making this a memorable stay. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at the Regatta Inn to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and it was truly unforgettable. The panoramic views from the property were absolutely stunning—watching the sunset from our room was one of the highlights of our trip. The beach was just a short, easy walk away, making it perfect for an early morning sunrise stroll as well. The inn itself is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This was easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and we would absolutely recommend the Regatta Inn to anyone looking for a special, relaxing getaway.

We had an excellent stay at Regatta. The rooms were large and clean with amazing views along with a great breakfast, including a daily happy hour. The staff was very accommodating and friendly as well as quite knowledgeable about the area. We weren't sure if the location would work when we booked, but it turned out perfect. It was private and quiet with none of the traffic or crowds downtown. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks again to Kim for a great weekend!
