Baymont by Wyndham Fort Wayne

The hotel can best be described as if one cheap person sold the hotel to another cheap person who bought it from another cheap person, and they lived there... Clean but dingy. Pool probably hasn't been open since before Covid. Just go to McDonald's for breakfast. The $70-80 a night feels overpriced. It was quiet. Housekeeping never made a visit during my entire week stay. I wouldn't recommend but I wouldn't turn anyone away for a cheap stay. Just don't have high expectations.

The hotel is obviously older, however seems the be reasonably well maintained. One downside is that the water heater is not large enough to handle a lot of people showering at night. The location is really good though, quick access to the Interstate and restaurants.

Your little disappointed the carpets were very dirty. That a funky feeling. I was glad I had house shoes with me. The hotel showing its age. The young man at the desk was very very nice. I would stay there again. But I hope they clean the carpets before I do.

We checked in close to 10pm. The first room key we were given was to an occupied room. The second was the filthiest hotel room I've ever been in. Crumbs all over the kitchenette area, crusty spots on the bedsheets, a rock in the vent of the heater, a dirty side table, a lamp that flickered constantly, what appeared to be makeup on the vanity, and the kicker, the toliet, which had long hair and poop splatter all over it. ||||Absolutley disgusted, I quickly tried to find a new hotel with availability, with no success. I went back to the front desk and described the status of this room. The gentlemen working that night offered to show us another room. He did, it wasn't nearly as bad as room number 2, but still had hair and something dripping from the toliet. We went to a 4th room. One lamp was being held together by painter's tape, not electical. The bathroom sink had small hairs all over it, as if a man had shaved recenetly. The tub was a myriad of colors and falling apart. With no other options, we slept fully clothed and left first thing the next morning. We did not risk even looking at the breakfast. There was no way we were going to eat at a place this filthy.

I have stayed here 2 weekends in a row for work, who are the ones who booked the room, and it is a decent hotel. Rooms are clean, they have a mini fridge and microwave. The TV controls are weird but you can ultimately figure it out. The front desk people are nice and the manager understood my plight and let us check in early under the circumstances. I will have to stay here another weekend and it is okay accommodations.

The room was clean in very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and always fully stocked with lots of options. My boyfriend even made us both plates and bought them up to the room so I could have breakfast in bed (he's so sweet to me). There are lots of amenities like a fitness room, indoor swimming pool, business center, comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Lobby was nice and clean when we walked in. It's a good hotel for a short stay. The pool was cold on the first day but second day it was a little warmer and the internet didn't work very well. Beds aren't super comfy and there were some minor cleaning issues and broken toilet seat but we would stay again if in the area
