Hyatt Place Fort Wayne – Northwest

We checked in and absolutely loved the place. Turned the heater on and it started making noise so they put us in a new room that had been remodeled. Needless to say the remodel, although absolutely beautiful the layout is very wrong. I can’t explain it but when you stay there, you will absolutely know what I’m talking about. In the open area there’s wasted space and they put the bathroom and shower in a closet. I am not a negative Nancy so I will say no more. They failed on this remodel.

Great location. Welcoming front desk... Breakfast was ok.. rooms where ok.. outdated elevators. .House keeper the second floor start rolling here eyes when I asked for a towel and kept complaining about how tired she was. . Other than that it's a 2 star hotel... Outdated bathroom.. uncomfortable beds..

Good location, near by Walmart , very convenient! The Breakfast is also is also good!

We arrived late, after midnight. The staff was super friendly and even made me some food and sold me a cold beer before I turned in. The rooms are very nice. Beds are comfy, showers have good pressure. The bar is decently priced as well. I highly recommend this hotel!

Room was good, clean & accommodating minus the exception it didn't have a microwave. No big deal though. It had the usual small fridge, ice bucket, coffee maker etc.. along with the usual other things. Ice machine didn't work on our floor, so I had to go to a different level for ice, again, I survived lol! No harm no foul 😉. Guest service was good too. Breakfast was decent w/many options & the lady there tidying up food area w/her cart walking around was such a lovely woman & so sweet! Wish I had found out her name, 😞. Had a nice chat w/her while eating breakfast downstairs in lobby area, & she was on her game tidying things up everywhere. *sidenote* Upon leaving there was a service man there to tend to fixing the ice machine on our floor👍🏽 so the matter was being taken care of. We had a wonderful stay. Marcus was very welcoming & helpful. He went above and beyond for us! If we had a question he had an answer. The upgraded room was very roomy & nice! If anyone is needing a hotel in Fort Wayne go see Marcus at the Hyatt!

Room was nice. Not a lot of channels on tv but still good. Kitchenette area was nice as well. They had a coffee pot and fridge. We stayed in a king bed room with sofa. Water pressure was low in the shower which stunk but it is what it is. Bed was comfy. Staff was nice and tried to be helpful with getting a refund since we checked out a day early due to a family emergency. My only complaint was breakfast was meh. I love breakfast and theirs resembled hospital food. Despite that, I would stay here again. I am excited to see the renovations when they are completed. 5th floor is done. 4th floor was under renovation. We stayed on 3rd. I won’t complain about slightly outdated stuff because they are still under renovations. Excited for this hotel and all it’s potential
