Wyndham Garden Fort Wayne

My sister reserved a room at Wyndham Garden Fort Wayne for 3 nights. The first night on Feb. 8 we were up late chatting and she noticed a bug crawling on her bed. She had me look at it and it was a bedbug. I have delt with bedbug infestations in the past. I have extensive knowledge of them and have experienced awful allergic reactions to their bites. She killed the bug, we gathered our stuff and left to go find another hotel. On the way out my sister told the woman at the front desk that we found a bedbug, the woman replied that she would put a note in the system and she would hopefully get a refund. My sister has made multiple phone calls to inquiry about a refund. She has been given the runaround and so far no refund. This is incredibly unsupportive and am left feeling like they really don’t care about their guests or their customer service. Additional things we noticed: the website photos show a hot tub but is has been cemented in. We also noticed general filth everywhere, in the hotel and our room, and some wierd smells. I really hope they will take this report of a bedbug seriously so other guests don’t end up with bites or even worse, a bug in their bag that will come home with them and start another infestation.

Positive: Clean rooms and friendly front desk Negative: Many problems with room, fixed after we reported. Maid took the shower curtain. Didn’t realize till we went to take a shower and couldn’t. Told the manager personally. They offered NOTHING for our problem with that or other room problems.

I just want to say everything about this hotel is amazing except for the breakfast. That is the worst and they need to find a solution. But Patty that works in the bar and also cooks the dinner is the best and most proficient at her job. She is friendly and I came every night for four nights to drink and eat with her. I would come back just because of her and she should be the manger as she is great about multitasking and fast!

Booked a last-minute room and honestly… 10/10, no notes. The woman at the front desk deserves a raise, a trophy, and maybe a vacation — she handled my last-minute chaos like a total queen. 👑||The Jacuzzi suite? Spotless. Sparkling. Exactly what my overworked self needed. I was two bubbles away from moving in permanently.||If you need a clean, comfy room and customer service that actually makes you feel human, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back **consider me a returning regular. 😉

Rooms were nice and clean. Your standard room. "Hot tub in our room was a whirlpool tub. We were expecting what was in the photos. Everyone was kind and helpful. Breakfast had hot options. Run of the mill "eggs " ham ( was a bit funky) cereals, fruit and pancakes. Hit tea, coffee hot chocolate and juice and milk as well. Pool was closed in the winter, as it goes indoors and out. Probably nice in the summer. Nice workout facility. There is a bar with food,, but didn't visit it on this trip.

Great place with great value right off the interstate. The welcome was warm, the I door pool although small is comfortable and warm for a dip. The tubs are deep, the sheets were crisp and white, the pillows are fat, and the courtyard for smoking. Right next to food choices and 15 minutes from the coliseum, downtown. I'll be staying there again next time I'm up for a show.

Was hear for business purposes, left my earrings in th dresser jour in my room next to my bed checked out went back to get them the same day and they were gone a $1500 dollar lesson was learned today😥 They won’t be able to pawn them though they’re earrings, pawn shops don’t by earrings, but if you stay here make sure you get everything and double check because people are not honest and will take things they are not there’s. They may have gotten away with it with me, but they won’t get away with it with the man upstairs!!
