Gainesville Lodge

The owner, general manager, and front desk staff all were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were small. They have completely renovated this hotel and did an excellent job. It is walking distance from the campus.

I slept like a baby! Simple and easy. They just re launched the hotel which appears to be under new management. The place was clean, comfortable and the management very responsive.

I have been staying here almost every year for over 12 years. Most places get older and worse This place gets better and better. Great management, great staff. All rooms are good ( COULD use a bit more coffee) but pool side is the killer! Bernard is always VERY welcome 🤗

The room was so clean and neat ! Tv and WiFi were great. The shower and bathroom were very clean, however the shower head was very confusing. And the room caused me and my friend to have a reaction. But overall it was a very good room for the price !!

I had to be in the area for one night and all the other hotels nearby were WAY more expensive. If you're on a budget, this is the place. Check-in was seamless. The room comes with all the typical amenities, albeit with dated furniture. It has sort of a rustic feel to it. New TVs, and the bathroom was clearly redone recently. The shower is the old-fashioned motel style, which I personally love. The bed was also really, really decent for a motel. If I have to come back to Gainesville, I'm definitely booking this place again. The location is near UF campus, so the motel is super conveniently placed right in the neighborhood of everything you may need. I also walked around quite a bit and found restaurants galore. Again, for the price, you can't beat it.

This is an excellent motel for its price point. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh- an elusive quality in the value motel segment of accommodations. The beds were comfortable and the facility was surprisingly quiet. We slept very well and had no issues with insects or safety. The customer service was outstanding and I would not hesitate to stay here again. The location is a bit difficult to access because the streets are narrow. Water pressure was a bit low but the hot water was adequate for our needs and the ability to park right outside the door is paramount for us because of my husband’s mobility impairment. The manager went above and beyond . I would happily stay here again .
