Quality Inn Gainesville I-75

The rooms and beds were clean, but the tub and shower needed to be replaced. The tub had been patched and water ran cold quickly, but got hot again, which was strange. Staff was nice, but breakfast was very limited: Apples, bran flakes, waffles, and Little Debbie cakes. Highway noise was loud, so not great for light sleepers.

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Do Not Stay Here. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When I pulled the sheets back, the mattress had a huge, disgusting stain on it. The sheets and pillows had a strong unpleasant odor, like they hadn’t been properly washed in a long time. The carpet smelled horrible as well, which made the entire room feel dirty and unsanitary. No guest should ever have to stay in a room like this. It’s clear the hotel does not maintain proper hygiene or basic cleanliness standards. I was extremely uncomfortable and disappointed. This place urgently needs to replace mattresses, deep clean carpets, and actually wash linens properly. Until they do, I absolutely do NOT recommend staying

Room 111 was very accommodating for our son in a wheelchair. The main bed area was a bit tight for the wheelchair, but the shower and bathroom was excellent. We stayed due to a visit at the VA just on the other side of I-75. This location was very convenient for getting to an early morning appointment for my husband. We were looking for a breakfast bread for breakfast, but found the pancake sauce dogs, what a nice surprise which was probably better for us. We had a great experience all the way around. Thank you! We'll be back if we have another early morning appointment at that VA.

Clean rooms - good location - great staff - decent price. Have stayed there several times and always satisfied.||

I booked a non-refundable room not expecting my daughter to become ill. I begged the hotel to cancel my reservation or give me a credit because I can't afford to be out $200, but they would not work with me at all. They wouldn't even lower the rate. No wonder this hotel chain is doing so poorly. None of the customer service reps could speak English very well so it was really difficult to understand them. I won't be back to any hotel with the Choice Hotel chain.

The service was great, but the elevator, the hall and room reeked of pot. The room smelled of mold and the air conditioner was so loud. If other rooms had been available, we would have stayed someplace else. The Lobby and breakfast area were clean and all the interactions with the staff were good. It is the only reason it is a 5 and not a 1.

I stayed over two weeks at this location and I must say it was a very pleasant stay. Mr Patel, the owner is a nice man who has staff that's been with him for decades. He has chosen them well. The rooms a clean. The breakfast a standard but prepared better than most. I'd like to mention Chris and William the night clerks. They both are exceptionally good people who are definitely great in the hospitality sector. Thanks men. Mono and Sanford part of the cleaning staff do there jobs with exlilance. You can bounce a quarter off the beds they make. Dennis the maintenance man is probably the best one I've see. Behind the scenes you can count on him doing his job. Thank you Mr Patel for an awesome stay. Much respect.
