Got this hotel for my besties birthday so we could swim in the all year open pool. It shows it closes at 11pm they closed it at 10pm, it shows it opens at 6am it’s 9am and it’s not open. Not to mention the Wi-Fi does not work at all. My friends bed had what looks like piss stains all over the blankets. The bathroom door doesn’t even lock A/C sucks. This was not worth $200 especially not for 1 night. I don’t recommend this hotel. I booked it online and it said $140 and some. Change was my total I got here and paid $202. This is experience sucked. I deserve my money back.
Positive: The staff was outstanding!!! It was right off the interstate and had restaurant options nearby. It also had a Bistro that served food and alcoholic beverages. Negative: Yes. It did not provide a free breakfast. I missed that when booking. The Bistro was available, which at check in a $50 charge was put on the card for incidentals such as that. We prefer the typical buffet.
I stayed at the hotel for my wedding weekend, and it was the worst hotel experience I'd ever had. The employees are unhelpful and don't listen to their customers. The hotel also charged the same room twice, which was illegal and is currently being resolved with my bank. We tried to resolve this with the hotel, but they were unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because the process was extremely stressful. Someone also stole my cousin's phone at the counter, and when we asked if we could see the cameras to see who had taken it, they were completely unhelpful. Please do not waste your time and stay at another hotel.
I have nothing negative to say about this property. I was in a bit of a situation as I had to move from one hotel (non-Marriott) at 2am because it had a fair bit of bugs in the room, over to the Courtyard and it was night and day! Shoutout to Napoleon for the amazing service as well! He was able to secure me a room and was so nice and welcoming considering it was after 3a at this point. As a budget traveler myself, I rarely stay in super upscale hotels however this was one of those times and it definitely was a right choice here. Rooms were clean, common areas were clean, no free breakfast however there is a bistro/bar with some solid options. Can’t complain at all and I definitely would stay here again.
This isn't a luxury property, but it is very nice- exactly what you would expect from a Courtyard by Marriott. The rooms were clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The front desk manager, Napoleon Phillips, was extremely unprofessional. When I first approached the desk, he did not greet me or even offer a smile. He then informed me that my prepaid reservation had been canceled because I arrived after the nightly audit. I explained that my company had already paid for the room and even offered to pay again, but he flatly refused. At 4:30 a.m., after hours of travel and with training scheduled for 8 a.m., I was told I could not check in until after 7 a.m. Mr. Phillips shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do. When I requested a manager, he claimed he was the manager. When I then asked for his supervisor’s and corporate contact information, he reluctantly provided it. Because of this, I had to scramble to figure out accommodations and was unable to rest before my training. Fortunately, Manager Forrest responded immediately, confirmed there were available rooms, and assured me that this situation should never have happened. Upon my return, the rest of the team was welcoming, and my stay ended on a positive note. However, Mr. Phillips’s behavior was unacceptable. His lack of professionalism and refusal to resolve a straightforward issue caused unnecessary stress and disruption. I strongly recommend that his employment be reconsidered immediately.
Cheap prices, good staff, outdated rooms with pressing issues that need immediate attention. Check-in: The staff gave us an upgrade before we could ask for it. Although they took 15-20 minutes per customer for check-in, the staff were very courteous to everyone. Appliances: They didn't have microwaves in the rooms and the only ones in the hallway were down. A lady tried to get some instant food microwaved for a long time but it was down. I could literally sense her frustration as it was past midnight & all of us simply wanted to go to our rooms & sleep. Security: Their RFID cards were down (like completely) except to unlock the room. We weren't prewarned by the staff so my husband got locked out twice while coming back from the car. They didn't have a reception contact number(so weird), so if he had been staying alone, he'd have been stuck standing outside all night. Breakfast: No complimentary breakfast even for members - only for purchase. Not the fancy kind - ready to eat tubs of Mac & Cheese, cereal etc
