Glendale Hotel

Positive: For Glendale, CA... great value! $---- total for one night. Hotel is very clean; must've been recently remodeled with all nice decor- including bathrooms. Even liked the remote check-in kiosk. Friendly girl. Quick check in. Would gladly repeat stay! Negative: No.

I was in the middle of moving and needed to find a local spot to stay. I made the horrendous mistake of staying at this hotel. Wow! Upon arriving I was greeted by a kiosk with the most unsympathetic representative. I felt like an undesired guest. Minimal effort to try to help me, a paying customer. The rooms are very spacious and give the appearance of clean. Don’t be barefoot here, just a heads up. The room seems outdated with outlets that can’t even hold your charger. I had to extend a night and rather than move hotels I paid online for an additional night. Instead of simply keeping me in the same room they moved me. They moved me into an exact same type of room. They felt was best. Same issues with some of the outlets, the restroom was even more outdated than the room. I had forgotten an item in the previous room and called the front desk asking if I could retrieve it. Their response was "we will call you if we find it". If you find it? I knew it was located in the drawer of the nightstand next to the best. I could describe the item. Still , they would call me. At check out, still no call and no item. Now I am out $150+ and all research was lost. No apology or anything to rectify the issue on the part of the hotel. Horrible place to stay at and my recommendation is to stay away. There are far better options in the area with far better service.

First and foremost very clean, very generous stuff, providing all needed supplies. Very calm, quiet and safe place to stay. We loved it. This is our 1st time and for now on only GLENDALE HOTEL no second thoughts. THANK YOU OUR GLENDALE HOTEL!!!!😊🙏🏻

Stayed one night at the Glendale Hotel in town for a concert! The hotel was great met all my expectations. The check-in was unique and different with a person via kiosk, no front desk. But it was smooth and simple. Room was nice! It had a microwave and fridge. And then have complimentary coffee and infused water downstairs. Definitely would stay again.

What a nightmare. Half of this hotel is a liminal space that seems to be an endless maze. Probably a cool photography location if you’re into that type of thing. The other half is a roach infested hellhole. I couldn’t believe the size of the cockroaches in my room. They wouldn’t even scurry away when I turned lights on. Total infestation. But hey, at least the owner put cringe psychedelic artwork in the dank smelling hallways on the side of the hotel that doesn’t look like it’s straight out of a 70s time machine. And by that I mean the half that DOESN’T have the tacky 70s inspired artwork, that’s supposedly the "good" side (pics attached) although I liked the clock wall. Stank too if I didn’t already mention that. Oh yeah and good luck if there’s a fire. All fire alarms have been ripped out of the walls. Surely that’s up to code!

Enjoyed our stay for the week. Amenities are great. Awesome coffee machine. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants. Strange whining sound coming from the next room but otherwise peaceful place. Greatly priced.

Booked two hotel rooms here for a night here. This spot ended up being very convenient due to the location and ease of check-in. I know some people dislike the virtual front desk, but I enjoyed how I was able to get checked in pretty seamlessly and smoothly for both of my rooms. The staff working the desk did great and answered any questions we had. There's two sides to the parking lot for this hotel, with only one side with the driveway open. Parking isn't free even though it looks free to someone who doesn't have a reservation here. You pay $15 for one car to park in your reservation per night, and an additional car is $20. They ask for the car color, make, model, and year of your car so just have that info prepared. Both of the rooms were pretty clean and impressive despite the old building this hotel is in. I slept well through the night as the AC/heater system was on and it was also easy to adjust and worked perfectly well. The TV isn't a smart TV and plays cable channels. There was a medium-sized mini-fridge to our delight and there was even a microwave included. Blowdryer in the bathroom with sample sized shampoo and conditioner. No ironing board, no pool, or personal gym. Elevator worked smoothly and there's a staircase to walk up at easily. You can use one of the two luggage carts at the lobby for a very smooth process with luggage. Easy drive to the Galleria mall and is also nearby many restaurants. If you need to go anywhere in Glendale early in the morning, I definitely recommend staying here for a night!
