Hotel Xilo Glendale

Be aware of the scam!!!!!|I booked this Hotel for one night but never stayed. Why? Because the day I arrived for check in, your receptionist, Kristine asked me did you bring a car, I said well I would not walk 400 miles all the way from Northern California to arrive to the hotel. She said well the parking charge will be extra $12. I said, no because when I was booking on your website nothing was written about parking charge. I told her all I saw was parking included with booking. She said, "I don’t know anything about our website, we are separate. " I said, wow really she said, "yes." I said, well I wanna see your manager. She said, manager will be here tomorrow by noon. I said, ok in that case I won’t pay for parking until I see your manager. Kristine told me, "I have to cancel your reservation then." And she did.|This how this so called "hotel" works. So she cancelled my reservation and I went and stayed in another place. I NEVER STAYED WITH YOU. |The only way you can improve is to fire this employee because not only disrespected your gust and cancelled the reservation. But also, ruined the hotel’s reputation because of $12 extra charge that I believed she wanted to put in her pocket. |Very bad experience. I will never personally come nor recommend anybody to stay with you.

The front desk lady is very rude. She has no customer service. She seems irritated. I would never pick this hotel again. I'll do another review after I check out to see if it's worth even staying the night. They charge you for parking there's damage in the rooms. I should have paid an extra $50 to go to the Hilton.

I mean it’s terrible. First, a motel, the name is straight up fraud. Second, its bad. Noisy. Loud plumbing. Can hear everyone all the time. They remodeled but used terrible quality stuff so its all damaged, and bad plaster and paint. This is a 1 star at best and would never ever come back. Hotels dot com and anyone affiliates should be ashamed to even list let alone recommend…

I was there 2 times. Rooms are not very clean and actually everything is normal (for not high price) till you go to shower. Bathroom become to lake Titi kaka, with water with shampoo and soup up to feet. 2 times, different rooms and same problem.

I reserved 3 nights at Hotel Xilo by recommendation of an acquaintance. The hotel is a convenient few short blocks from Downtown Glendale super easy to walk to. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I gave the room 3 stars because it simply isn’t a 5 star hotel. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet even though it’s off a busy street. The only noise that came through was a group of loud motorcycles that passed by. It was a super hot day and the air conditioning in the room worked really well. The bed was a bit stiff but again, this is just a small no frills motel and I was just happy that it is clean, safe and conveniently located. Unfortunately my stay was cut short and I had to leave after just one night for personal reasons. When I checked out the lady at the front desk was equally pleasant as the man who checked me in. She offered to refund the two nights on my reservation that I didn’t end up using which was a very pleasant surprise. They definitely didn’t need to do that. I give service and location 5 stars each. I would stay here again.

Service was great, front counter workers were nice and helpful. As soon as you walk in the room it smells like someone smoked 10 packs of cigarettes…they gave us their "best room" and when we walked in it still smelled like cigarettes…the bed was soft, shower was nice, but the jacuzzi had hair in it…had to go down the street and buy a bottle of febreeze and empty the whole can in the room.
