Positive: The location and it was pretty quiet. No bed bugs or roaches like in previous reviews. Had a fridge and microwave. The fold out bed was nice. No back aches in the morning. The place was surprisingly good after all the bad reviews it got. Negative: There wasn’t any soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the containers in the shower. But there were travel size bottles left on the counter for us. There weren’t any wash cloths. The floor was a bit squishy. Not sure why. No ironing board or iron.

A very basic, clean, quiet, and comfortable room at an excellent value for the rate. A/C worked very well in the late summer heat and humidity. Has convenient on-site parking which is necessary as street parking is limited. Not the most convenient location for Glendale shopping and attractions, but is freeway adjacent and has great transit access. The upgraded bathroom fixtures and amenities are a definite plus. Staff is friendly and helpful, and assisted with booking an additional night's stay for my family at last minute notice.

Got a good price on tbe honeymoon suite. Room was nice, big and comfortable. All they need to do is upgrade the TV an add more seating. She kept 10 of my $20 because I checked out 15 minutes after check out other than that, it was great.

Avoid if You Can, Not As Advertised I stayed at the Tilbury Inn and it was a huge disappointment. First off, the TV didn’t work, the kept glitching, there were no toiletries, no towels, and no toilet paper. Nothing was stocked in the room like it was supposed to be. The air conditioner didn’t work, and when I asked to switch rooms, I was told no. There is no housekeeping it’s run by a husband and wife, and they don’t come by to check on your room or offer any service. There are also no trash cans, so you’ll have to hold on to your trash until you leave. Worst of all, they ask for a cash deposit when you check in, but when you check out, they inspect your room and refuse to return your deposit for any small excuse. The parking is terrible the spaces are extremely tight, and if you drive a bigger vehicle, you’ll probably have to find parking down the street. Definitely not convenient. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep for the night, this might be a last resort. But if you’re staying in Los Angeles for the weekend or trying to enjoy your visit, find another hotel. Even a Motel 6 would be a better option. If you do end up staying here, bring your own toilet paper, towels, blankets, fan, shampoo, and conditioner you’ll need it all. This place is not what they advertise online, and the customer service is nonexistent. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The hotel room was clean and spacious with a large amazing shower. The staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. It's close to shopping centers and all kinds of restaurants of different foods. I highly recommend staying here its a unique experience.

This was truly one of the most horrid traveling experiences of mine and my friends life. The rooms itself were horrible and they didn't feel clean. We got two non smoking rooms and they smelled like smoke and weed. There was a flat sheet used as sheets and a very thin blanket with nothing else. The pillows were awful. One of the mattresses was normal, but the others were rock solid and uncomfortable. The chair present in the rooms were an office "swivel" chair, there was rust on the shower head, and water damage on the floor. Upon check in, the owner said we must give her a cash deposit. No where online did it say we were to provide a cash deposit and none of us had cash. When we tried to ask what the cash deposit was for she kept mumbling and would not give us a straight answer as to what the deposit was for. We tried to give her our credit card to provide the deposit, but she refused and demanded she was to only accept cash. After I asked if the deposit was refundable, she said it was. She said we could bring it to her before our stay was over. We decided to read more of the online reviews and found other people reporting the same thing where they were to give her a cash deposit (where they also report there was nothing online saying they required a cash deposit). These reviews said they gave her the cash deposit and when they asked for the deposit back, she said it was "their tip" or their "Christmas gift." Additionally, she had us sign something and would not show us what we were signing. Since my friends and I were confined to one of the rooms with less of the smoking smell compared to the other room, we were a bit loud one night, and the owner came and knocked on our door. She started aggressively talking to us saying her entire family was on the other side and could hear us and were unable to sleep, she kept going on and on about how her parents and children were over there. She then continued to escalate and get angry saying we never gave her the cash deposit. As we thought the cash deposit was a scam since they did not have it advertised anywhere and most of the reviews said what they did, we did not give her the cash deposit. She ended up yelling back and forth with my friend over the cash deposit versus the noise issue. We would have had no problem quieting down as we understand people could hear us, but she switched the entire issue to the cash deposit. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful, and more so it was deeply unprofessional. We also mentioned the rooms smelled like weed and smoke and she dismissed us saying they prohibit smoking in the rooms. She then ended up saying "she cannot control what the Gen Z's do, you would know," in reference to the cigarette smoke and weed smell. My friends and I do not smoke and she said this in reference to our age.
