My husband and I absolutely loved our visit here. The owners had jazz music playing upon our arrival which was a nice touch and really set the mood for the evening. The mansion is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, I absolutely loved tracing the hallways and learning more about its history. We enjoyed spending the evening in the living room getting to know the other guests over champagne. There are toiletries in the bathrooms, candies/pastries, coffee/tea, and a little continental breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to many fun bars/restaurants downtown. The owners are fun, amazing people - 10/10! If you have a spare weekend, spend it here.

Check in is only available from 4-6pm. Our travel plans got delayed due to vehicle issues, and we were not going to be able to arrive until 8pm. We called the location at 3pm to inform them of the delay, and we were told that no check in after 6pm would be possible. They told us we would NOT be able to stay at the property and we would NOT be refunded our money. Most insane customer service I have experienced.

Wow what a lovely experience. Upon arriving in Greensboro North Carolina my partner and I were pleasantly pleased to find we had the property , Julian price house for the next 24 hours by ourselves. The entire property was absolutely magnificent and would suggest anybody coming in from out of town stay there a night or two you don't need to stay in a hotel this place is absolutely beautiful. And if you like you can also pick up food and cook in one of the two kitchens that they have which I did . Thank you again for a lovely stay and hope to be back soon!

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS OMG and i really wish that hotels and newer buildings would bring back the magical experience of old timey-er homes such as this one. the entire home had such character and class it was a phenomenal place to spend the night at.

Difficult to rate this gorgeous Inn due to the difference in the rooms. The Dogwood Suite should have its own review and that would be 5 stars. We were allowed to look at this suite by the generous couple who booked it. The Dogwood is updated and large and convenient. The bathroom was new and ample in space. Unfortunately, we stayed in the blue room. An important bit of information is that there is no elevator. You will need to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs and then to your room. As an older couple, this was not preferable and a surprise to us. Our room was very clean and lovely to look at but quite impractical. It was very small and the bed was not a king size (at least not in this century). Also, there was no place to put our suitcases. The closet was big but we were staying for one night and had not planned to unpack as this was our final night out in a week’s vacation. While all of this was inconvenient, the bathroom was true to the 1920’s, literally, same tiles, sink, bathtub, toilet, etc. While this was fascinating during the excellent tour we were given, to actually use the facilities was not ideal to say the least. We felt it should either have been used as a tour or updated to this century and used as an Inn.

Lynn was very kind and prompt when we arrived. She was hilarious when explaining how to properly lock and unlock the front door! We had the time so we went on a tour with her. So much history! The space is amazing and smells so good. In the morning we made coffee and walked around the grounds. Very relaxing and beautiful experience.

Easily one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! We felt like royalty in this beautiful mansion. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Upscale drinks and snacks were provided as well as continental breakfast. The grounds were beautiful with benches in different spots of the garden to enjoy the plants and views of the house. The bed and was very comfortable and our bathroom was luxurious. Cannot wait to visit again!
