I travel for a living and have stayed at hundreds of hotels. The Biltmore is ideally located, it was clean and comfortable, and the staff were professional, helpful, and informative. This is a historic property and an architectural landmark. As such, there are many accommodations that are intentionally dated as part of the preservation of the building and the history of Greensboro. Staying here is like staying at a bed and breakfast, or staying at your grandma‘s house in the country. If you require modern fixtures and vibes, there’s a Marriott down the street at twice the price that’s probably what you’re looking for. I had a room on the ground floor and it was clean, good climate control, fixtures were of course old and a bit temperamental but everything worked just fine. The mini fridge was excellent and I was able to keep food and prepare meals in my room. Wi-Fi was great. Bed was very comfortable. I stayed for a full week. It was nice to feel like I was coming home to an apartment after work every night. Highly recommend staying here if you are planning to enjoy downtown Greensboro. All members of the staff that I interacted with over the course of the week were lovely, helpful, and clearly care about this historic property very much. Overall a great place to stay.

Cool old historic building in a great downtown location, but it needs some improvements. Shower in bathroom didn't have hot water, breakfast selections were limited and the prepackaged muffin had some mold on it. No curtains in room so it was very bright after sunrise. Blanket had what appeared to be a blood stain. Staff was nice though, and the 100 year old elevator was cool. I understand new ownership took over recently so hopefully they will be able to fix things soon.

Really quaint and reasonably priced boutique hotel in downtown Greensboro. The hospitality is second to none. The nicest and warmest people work the front desk. The room is cozy and comfortable, and the location is perfect - just a seven minute walk to the Amtrak station. However, the age of the hotel is evident in the loose floorboards, cracked windowsill, and outside noise bleeding easily into the room. The bed is also very firm, and the TV is really small.

The Biltmore Greensboro Hotel was such a lovely place to stay. I really enjoyed the historic feel throughout the lounge, hallways, and our room. The interior had so much character, with artistic touches and a warm, emotional charm that made the whole place feel special. I loved the bookshelves on each floor, filled with old volumes that made you feel the history of the building. A big thank-you to Zoi from the staff for sharing some of the hotel's backstory with us, which made the experience even more memorable. All the concierges were also very welcoming and helpful. The location was another highlight. It’s right by South Elm Street, with tons of great cafés, bars, restaurants, and small shops — perfect for wandering around. Breakfast was simple but really good — the waffles, coffee, and tea hit the spot, and even the plates and cups were beautifully chosen. If you like places with a bit of soul and charm, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

First stay at this hotel but will not be the last. This is a beautiful, historic building with a rich history. The rooms are nicely appointed and all furnished and decorated differently. If you are looking for something different, definitely try out this eclectic hotel. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. You will love a trip to explore downtown Greensboro with this hotel as your home base!

My family stayed here for my sisters wedding. What a beautiful hotel and the hosts are equally amazing. Clean, well kept, historic and overall a great stay. Although we were not staying with here, they let my children participate in the events here. Highly recommended.
