We always stay at a Wyndom, we like them. Check in was nice, room clean but the beds in 108 are visibly caved in while made and were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. In fact, neither my daughter nor I slept much at all. They’re so crooked we both left there painful. When I spoke to the young man as we checked out, without even looking at me as he was busy texting, he smartly replied "oh really? I’ve never heard that before" I said you only need to take a short walk down and hang a left to see. Not coming back. Never had such a poor experience with Wyndom. Very disappointed, waste of our money. Glad we didn’t have multiple nights booked, would have absolutely canceled the rest. If one room has beds in that poor of condition, there are more.
Positive: "" Negative: Security was harassing us because we were sitting in the car waiting on check in time did know it was your policy that we could not sit in parking lot when we arrived early
My family and I were extremely disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. We chose this location expecting a clean, comfortable environment, but what we experienced was completely unacceptable. When we first checked into our room, we immediately noticed a used rubber left behind on the floor near the bed. This was not only disturbing but also a major concern for cleanliness and sanitation. It was very clear that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned or inspected before our arrival. To make matters worse, other family members traveling with us had to switch their room because of a very strong urine smell. The odor was so overwhelming that it made the room uninhabitable. Having to repack and move rooms after a long day of traveling was extremely inconvenient, especially when this could have been avoided with basic housekeeping standards. The staff did apologize and relocate us, but the overall lack of cleanliness across multiple rooms shows a much bigger issue with maintenance and quality control. When you book a hotel, you expect a safe, clean space for your family—unfortunately, we did not get that here. I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously and improves their cleaning procedures. Until then, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hygienic and comfortable stay.
There is a $30 non refundable pet fee. The room was clean and already warm when we checked in. Which was very nice as it was quite cold outside. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The only drawback is that the location is not good. There are a lot of homeless folks walking around and hyperdermic needles in the grassy areas around the hotel. I didn't see any where I walked the dog, though. That was kept pretty well cleaned up. Plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from.
Kayla was very friendly at the front desk during check-in. The lamp on the desk did not work. Bed made a noise when sitting, but other than that the stay was comfortable. Breakfast was decent, coffee was not available the next morning until breakfast was served. There was a new lady at the desk, she did not have access to fix the coffee and was not as friendly as Kayla.
Title: Cleanliness Concerns and Bed Bug Issue Review: I recently stayed at here 12/13 and unfortunately encountered a significant issue with bed bugs in my room (115) . After reporting the situation to management, they did acknowledge the problem and offered a refund, which I appreciate. However, I feel it’s important for future guests to be aware that this issue existed, and I hope the hotel will take proactive steps to address it thoroughly. After reading these reviews aftermath , it seems there have been similar complaints in the past about this particular room, so I would encourage management to ensure a more thorough inspection and preventative measures. Overall, I hope my feedback can help improve the experience for others.
I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and the professionalism of the staff is consistently outstanding. In particular, Ms. Arletta truly stands out. She treats guests like people, not just another room number, and that personal touch makes a huge difference after a long day. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the amenities are always nice and reliable. Because of the staff’s professionalism and the overall quality of the hotel, this has become my go-to place when I’m in Greensboro. Highly recommended.
