The Orenco Station Hotel

Very cozy boutique hotel. They’re super thoughtful with their services, I really appreciate being able to virtually check in and out since I had some pretty early flight times. Room was impeccably clean and comfortable. This is also a really nice area, I felt perfectly safe walking around as a female solo traveler - even at night. Super close to both train and bus lines, I had no problem getting around at all! I’ll be back next year and I will absolutely being staying here again!

Loved this place. The owners could not have been nicer. They were extremely good communicators and helpful with local recommendations. We very much enjoyed walking around around the neighborhood and visiting the local shops and restaurants. Our favorite was la Provence - so good! So much within walking distance of this place, including the train. Very quiet and comfortable room, with nice sitting areas both inside the room and one outside on the patio. Housekeeping kept everything neat and tidy, so it felt like we were just checking in every day when we came back to the room. We will make it our go-to hotel whenever we visit the area.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Hillsboro, just outside Portland. I came to help my daughter move into her new apartment. The plan was for her to stay with me the first couple of days but the place was so charming that she stayed with me pretty much the whole time. They were still getting the place up and running and still had some construction going on and installation of carpet and things like that but the place was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, and so very quiet and cozy. It was a haven to come back to each evening. Amenities were plentiful with coffee and tea available in my room, refrigerator stocked with complimentary water and a beautiful complimentary bottle of wine. While they do not have a place for breakfast at the hotel itself they give a voucher for a great cafe a half block away. Checking in and out was super easy. I came after the time that there was someone there to check me in so they gave me all necessary codes and there was no problem at all. The owners and all employees were above and beyond helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed my short stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and made for a great space for morning meetings. I was greeted with a generous gift and a hand-written welcome card. 10/10, would recommend. My only note to the staff as they continue renovation is to check the shower. The diverter valve in the shower needs some attention. Thanks for the great hospitality. I will be choosing this location again for future visits.

My wife and I had an amazing stay. We got stuck in all the weather delays traveling. I'm glad we ended out trip here. The rooms. The hotel. The neighborhood. All amazing. Very nice rooms. I could live here. Very comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay. This is where you want to stay. Great neighborhood 👍

A Hidden Gem in Hillsboro — Exceptional Value and Comfort I was so impressed by my stay at The Orenco. For the price and location, nearly everything exceeded my expectations. Parking was effortless (I literally parked right below my window), and the unit itself felt more like a stylish city apartment than a hotel room. Perfect for longer stays. The amenities were thoughtful and generous: plenty of water and coffee, a mini‑fridge, a complimentary bottle of wine, and even coupons for a local bakery. The contact‑free experience offered total privacy, yet the owners were friendly and attentive when needed. The neighborhood is fantastic — a high‑end grocery store, great restaurants, said bakery, and easy access to the MAX light rail all within a short walk. The exterior of the property is beautiful, and the whole place has a quiet, residential charm. They were doing some renovations during my stay, and the room could use a bit of updating, but the comfort and overall value far outweighed that. I’d absolutely stay here again and look forward to it!!

Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing! From the communication with the owners prior to check in to sending a text when checking out, no detail was missed. One of the owners even came to our room to introduce herself. One of my fave amenities, other than a fire pit on the private patio, to the Keurig and variety of the coffee selection and snacks, was the vouchers for breakfast each day to a fabulous French Asian inspired bakery down the block. Location was great and easy walking distance to Trimet. Highly recommend this hotel and I cannot wait to go back! Well done Orenco!
