Halekulani Hotel

My wife & I spent another vacation here at The Halekulani. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful hotel, we were warmly greeted and were treated as if we were family. The décor in this hotel is stunning with fresh flowers throughout. This hotel offers a wonderful breakfast at Orchids. Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff are pleasant as well. We had dinner one evening at Le Mer, and it was outstanding with impeccable service! Worthy of a Michelin star. The service both in the hotel and restaurants was very friendly and professional. It is in a great location that is only a short walk from the shopping area. This hotel offers a lovely tour of their property, so if you have time take it. We had Donna one year giving the tour, and she is fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

This very special Hotel will take your breath away!! Understated, spot on service, with an elegant, warm and welcoming environment. One of the best Hotels in the world let alone Hawaii. Orchids is our favorite dining spot. So delicious! Highly recommend.

I didn't stay here, but I did walk around and ask the concierge for directions to a nearby bakery. Despite not being a guest there, she was very helpful, even walking partway towards the bakery to show me where it was. I think that is a good indication of the level of service at this hotel, which also has a light, airy layout that is very relaxing.

My husband surprised me and booked five nights here for our anniversary. Sam, who works in the pool area, is absolutely wonderful. She took some stunning photos of us the first day we arrived and has been a true gem the entire time we have been here. We are enjoying the delicious complementary breakfast. The Mai Tai drinks are amazing. We booked a couples spa experience that would be hard to beat. This is quickly turning into one of the best trips that we have had.

It’s one of the nicest hotels in Waikīkī. They say "no tips are accepted" as they charge a service charge on everything, but the pool attendants and restaurant servers accept and there is an additional "gratuity" line on all bills, so 🤷🏽‍♀️ The food at the restaurants is good, but the prices are high for what you get and the service is not amazing. The rooms are pretty; very much a beach house feel, roomy but not spacious, very comfortable. We had a good experience, but would definitely try a different property the next time we stay in the area. The pool is a good size, but it’s crowded, and pool chairs in "good" spots/have umbrellas tend to have a waiting list. The staff is very friendly.

My fiancé and I recently stayed in the Diamond Head Oceanfront Prime room at Halekulani Waikiki, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The room offered breathtaking views, exceptional comfort, and a level of tranquility that truly elevated the stay. The service throughout the hotel was consistently professional, attentive, and warm. Every staff member I interacted with demonstrated a genuine commitment to hospitality, ensuring all needs were met promptly and courteously. The property itself is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and provides a refined atmosphere that perfectly complements its iconic location. Overall, Halekulani exceeded expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay in Waikiki.

This was my third time staying at Halekulani and it’s exquisite. Lovely grounds, amazing food (La Mer is to die for!), and the sweetest and most helpful staff. Please remember to tip your housekeepers! At Halekulani, they work hard to keep customers satisfied. I do recommend making reservations ahead of your trip for their restaurants.
